My first impression of this man, was that he was going to save my life!!! I cried when he walked in the door and I met him for the first time. He is very upfront and doesn't sugar coat anything. He demands compliance to the program, but will help you every step of the way. His office staff is wonderful as well!
My Surgeon is the best ! he makes sure that every thing is done and hes very good Akron City (SUMMA) Just recieved the CENTER of award of EXCELLENCE this fall I had my surgery on October 31st and doing very good .His office staff is the best they make you feel very at home and over all I would recomend him to any one that wants to have the surgery
Dr. Zografakis is a really good surgeon who doesn't beat around the bush about anything. He tells it like it is and although a little nerve racking, I appreciate that. Nobody likes to be told that you're unhealthy and going to live a shorter life because of it. But, he pulls no punches. He has very nice staff and everyone there takes good care of you. He's very insistent on support groups and the aftercare program, basically you'll be part of his \"system\" for the rest of your life. He's very informative about everything he's going to do in surgery and explained the risks in great detail. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, he's the best. I'm worried about surgery but he's made it comfortable for me and I totally trust him. I know he'll do what's best and take care of me. He's very thorough!
Well where do I begin.... I was supposed to get on here last year and do this, but time flies and life is hectic, but what a year.... My date of surgery was October 2, 2006. What can I saw about Dr. Z and the staff.... not enough great things... They gave me my life back... I have never felt so great ever, and am still losing... I am a whole new person and would recommend anyone who is even remotely thinking about it, to just do it.... the outcome is fantastic. I would do it all over again and again if I had to. The staff is so caring and willing to help you in anyway possible and Dr. Z is one in a million and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me and my life. I owe him big time :) Thanks again to Dr. Z and all the girls in his wonderful staff.... :)
Dr. Dan was a wonderful surgeon for me. Very personable. Answered all of my questions and concerns in language I could understand. Dr. Dan has a complete staff that has knowledge in all aspects of Bariatric surgery. They are all great!rnrnThere is nothing that I did not like about Dr. Dan or his office staff. They are wonderful! I had a great experience with them. I had been researching this surgery and doctors for five years prior to having my surgery. Talking to others that have had this surgery done made my decision to go with Dr. Dan a lot easier. Dr. Dan's office has a complete program, others did not. There are steps in this program that you must follow. I have found that my experience in this program so far (one month post-op) I have received more information and support than others have in their two years post-op by going to other doctors. rnrnDr. Dan had great bedside manners. Which if you have had surgery before, you know how important this is. Even on my follow up office visits with Dr. Dan, he has taken his time with me to make sure all of my questions and concerns have been answered. His staff continues to give me information as I progress to each stage of my eating. They are wonderful! I can't say enough about them. I would recommend them time and time again!rnrnHow would I rate him overall? On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest, I would give Dr. Dan and his staff an 11. They go above and beyond the call of duty!! Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful.rnrnI had some problem with sharp stabbing pain from my belly button to my left hip. I called Dr. Dan's office on a Saturday morning, which of course, they are not in on Saturday's but they had an answering service that I spoke with. I want you all to know, Dr. Dan called me back within 5 minutes of me speaking with the answering service. Dr. Dan answered my questions and concerns about the pain. He told me what to do until I saw him in the office on Wednesday for my one month check up office visit. Again, I was very pleased with him getting back to me as quick as he did, I was scared because the pain was so bad.rnrnIf any of you would like to contact me with any questions, please feel free to do so. dr. adrian dan is a very good surgeon! not only is he very skilled at the type of surgery that he does, he is also a very kind, thoughtful, and patient doctor! he will take the time to properly answer any questions that his patients ask so that the patient will fully understand the surgery and everything it involves!
Dr Z is a great guy, and has been very acomidating(my sister and I both are geeting RNY). Cindy, deb and the rest of the staff are also great. He is making me get a cpap first (which thanks to a very helpful support staff my insurance is going to pay for all of). At this point I would give Dr Z a solid 10 out of 10.
I've only met with him once last week. He seems very nice and very motivated.
Dr. Z is a very high engery guy. He is very straight forward and tells it like it is. He lets you know up front that you still have to work at this. The surgery is a tool that we have been given, but we still have to work to reach our goals.His office staff is wonderful. Every body in the office is upbeat and very helpful.They have in place all the tool that you need to suceed all you have to do is to put the effort in to it. Every thing was explained to me several times. You know what to expect along the way at every step. I would rate Dr. Z as excellent. And as for which is better surgical competence or bedside manner. Well as a health care worker my self I can tell you if you bedside manner sucks you will not be able to instill confidence in your patients. So the chance of operating on me are not good.rnThe only thing that I feel could be better would be a better exercise program.
