My first impression of Dr. Z is thst he is a very friendly and funny Doctor. He made me feel very comfortable, wich for me is hard to do.


The Staff: They are very nice also, I only have phone contact for now.

My first impression of Dr. Dan was that he was very nice and comforting I was very nervous about having surgery and wasn't even 50% sure I was going to go thru with it. I was sick of losing and gaining weight which I have done since I was in 5th grade. I smoked so I had to quit for 30 days before he would even schedule me for pre op testing so I had that much more time to think about it, but the one thing he said to me at the first meeting kept coming back to me. He said \"This is going to change your life\". His words helped me make my decision to go thru with the surgery because I so wanted to change my life and even though I am only 2 months after surgery my life has changed. I feel so much better physically and I can hardly wait to reach my goal. The Bariatric center at Summa Health Systems is a great organization the pre op and post op information is very good the staff friendly and compassionate. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering surgery. I have emailed and called them with all kinds of questions and they always get back to me and seem to always be available. Maybe this sounds too good to be true but trust me if you are considering weight loss surgery you will not find a better place to go. Dr. Dan is not only an excellent surgeon but he truly is a nice guy!!!

Dr. Dan saved my life! From the moment I first made contact with Dr. Dan and his staff, I felt welcomed, appreciated, and valued as a person. He and his office staff made me feel like part of a wonderful extended family, rather than just a patient. When I first met Dr. Dan, I felt comfortable and confident in his abilities as both a surgeon and a compassionate human being. He addressed the risks of surgery and the positive impact weight loss would have on my physical and emotional health. Dr. Dan has an excellent and compassionate bedside manner and provided excellent after-care. My life would be in serious medical trouble whithout his interventions. During bypass surgery, Dr. Dan discovered that I had other life-threatening medical problems. He continues to provide excellent care and advice as I deal with each problem. THis shows that Dr. Dan cares about the whole person, and not just weight loss. I give Dr. Dan kudos and highly recommend him to all family and friends. Because of him, I look forward to each new day with confidence. He has worked \"miracles\" for me and I look to the future with renewed hope, confidence, compassion, and strength. THANK YOU, DR. Dr. Dan was an excellent surgeon. He explained the process of gastric bypass very well before surgery. Any questions or concerns that I have I know that Dr. Dan and his staff have the knowledge to answer them. I highly recommend Dr. Dan and his excellent staff.\"

My first impression of Dr. Dan was that he was genuinely concerned about my inquiry into bariatric surgery. As time went on, I found out that he is genuinely concerned for his patients. He is very honest about the pro's and con's of surgical procedures and makes sure you completely understand everything prior to your surgery date. His office staff is very caring and always available to answer any question you may have. I definately would recommend Dr. Dan to anyone. He is a very talented surgeon, and very personable. His bedside manner is as good as his surgical talents. He and his staff are very supportive, friendly, and welcoming when you meet them in or out of the office setting. The program is very good, the goal is that every patient knows all about every step of the process. As a patient, I was very comfortable post-surgery, knowing what to expect, and what I could and could not do. The staff is to be commended for the education provided prior to surgery as well as prior to leaving the hospital. The support group is a help to any post surgical patient to help reinforce the new lifestyle as well as for suggestions how to deal with the new life. I would rate Dr. Dan a 10--as far as I am concerned, there is nothing that he could have done better than he did. I appreciate his skills, support and encouragement.

Dr. Dan is the most wonderful caring person I have met in a long time. He is very positive about all aspect of the sugery and the after recovery period as well as the long term follow up. rnI have always thought Dr. Dan was a wonderful physician and my opinion hasn't changed since I first came into contact with him.rnrnAll of his staff are very compassionate and very concerned about your welfare. Any time I have a question they are there to answer them for me and very quickly. They are friendly and very professional.rnrnI haven't found anything about Dr. Dan that I don't like and I would recommend him to all my friends and family in fact I have recommeded him to my friends and family looking for a surgeon.rnrnDr. Dan emphasizes aftercare from the very begining of the program and makes sure that all your questions are answered. My first impression of Dr. Zografakis was that he had excellent patient / bed side manner. My impression never changed about him, I felt that he kept me very informed of everything that was going on. I would have to say that his office staff is fabulous, there was never a time that I felt uneasy about asking questions. The staff was always courteous and prompt in getting back to me. I would recommend this office to anyone that is considering weight loss surgery. They are top notch!

Dr. Z is the greatest. He is very caring and concerned about your progress and his bedside manner is great. He has the best sense of humor. He is very straightforward concerning the risks of obesity and the possible risks involving the actual surgery. He does not pull any punches with you or try and sugarcoat anything to help you make a very informed decision. Right now I really can't think of anything negative I have had to say bout my experience yet.

My first impression of Dr. Dan was how knowledgable he is, and my impression has not changed over time. Dr. Dan is very straight forward, he does not sugar coat anything. Dr. Dan and his office staff are very helpful and they all emphasize aftercare and the office has an aftercare program. All of the risks of the surgery were fully explained. I would rate Dr. Dan high...his surgical competence and bedside manner are great.
