Dr. Inman was informative and professional from the beginning. She explained all the options, the pros and cons of each, the risks involved, the potential outcomes, the required effort on the patient's part, answered any questions and then talked individually with each person on her recommendation for him/her individually with the given medical history. Overall she is great. She is no nonsense and very professional. I would recommend her highly to anyone.

The aides as well as the nurses were very helpful and encouraging. My wife ended up staying with me the 2 nights I was there and they were very accomidating to her as well. I would recommend them to anyone asking.

I had my surgery on Nov.2,2006 and I had it at St. Vincent Hosp. with Dr. Christopher Evanson.
I cannot say enough good about both. I had some extra problems-total back fusion with total replacement with rods, I had deep-tissue MRSA after first back surgery. That incurred 5 more surgeries to get rid of that. They had to remove the implants & cut out dead tissue 2 of those times. I almost died twice, I was in the hosp. from Nov.2,2006-Jan.10,2007. Plus he had to undo a hiatial hernia fix, He handled it all great-no problems. I would recommend him to anyone!

My meeting with Dr Inman went very well, she made me feel confident and assured that the surgery will go well. I am a former patient of Dr Husted and was scheduled for surger on March 17, 2010 with him but because of his ordeal with the hospital my surgery was cancedlled. I look forward to my surgery with Dr Inman.

01/24/10 I'm scheduled for revision to DS with Dr Husted on March 17,2010, the band failed. Very disappointed that the band did not work. Thankful that my revision was approved so quickly.

12/03/07 I have not yet met my surgeon. I have received numberous emails. I can't wait to met him in 11 days.

12/31/2007-My first impression of Dr Lopez-Corvala was that he was very professional and had a passion for what he does. He was very warm and caring. His staff was the best. They treated me better than any hospital stays I've had in the past. My surgery was very successful. After surgery he visited me twice. The first time he came with some bad news that he had to take a biopsy for an unknown tissue on my esophagus. He informed me that he was concerned and wanted to perform this biopsy. Thankfully, the results were negative. He did all this without charging me. I would not have received this type of care in the US, not to mention how much they would have charged me. His second visit was very informative. He wanted to make sure I understood my aftercare instructions and informed me that this is a life changing event and I would do wonderful. He was great. I was scheduled to stay in the hospital for two nights. After the first night, I felt great and could have went home, except for the fact I return flight wasn't until another two days. On the third night, I was scheduled to stay in a local hotel. The patient administrator recommended that I stay in the hospital the extral night because I was by myself. They did not charge me for the extra night in the hospital. I would recommend him to everyone who is thinking about have this procedure. Well worth the money!

My fist impression was that he was very young, but very knowledgeable in his field. My impression hasn't really changed, because he's just so thorough and very focused on helping you to succeed. His office staff is the best I've dealt with. They are kind, and very quick to help you gather any and all documentation needed for your file(s). I think the thing I like least is the amount of time I've gotten to spend with him. I only saw him very briefly for the consultation, but that seemed to be enough to get everything started and a solid plan for my goals. Future patient's should know that even though he seems to be a little cool to his patients, he seems to know his stuff. He's very closely monitoring your approval process and goals from beginning to well a week before the surgery (haven't gotten past that yet). He places the most emphasis on after care of the entire process you go through. You must attend support groups before your surgery, and you're very strongly encouraged to go after. You must sign documentation stating you will come to post-op visits with dietitians and his office as well as adhere to all dietary and exercise rules! He has a very structured after care program, which I will detail when I get all the paperwork upon discharge. He addressed the surgical risks in a very mater-of-fact manor, a little cold if you ask me. He doesn't sugar cote, or gloss over anything which is good I supose. Every possible consequence they could think of, even death, was detailed in a hand out given in pre-op class which we were required to sign and return to the nurse. So far I would rate he and his staff as a 9 out of 10, as I haven't actually had the surgery but everything up to this point (which is all but the surgery) has been pretty darn good! His office hasn't been a problem at all, the hospital pre-op testing was the worst part so far. I wasn't told what was going to go on, everything was just sprung on me. I didn't like that, but hey I was approved January 28th and by Feb 10th my surgery was scheduled as well as pre-op testing and pre-op classes. There just wasn't a lot of time to explain much of anything I guess.

Really liked him, though I only met him 1 time for about 10 minutes. He came very highly recommended. I went through Clarian Bariatrics and have been a little less that impressed with their lack of organization and communication with me.

Dr. Evanson is the absolute best there is. He & his team of very professional & highly trained employees are the greatest. They did all the paperwork for my insurance approval & I was in surgery within 3 months of starting the process. Thanks to Dr. Evanson & Meridian Surgical Group for giving me a new shot at life. I am truly enjoying it!

My first impression of Dr. Diaz was that he seemed to know the answer anyone asked. I met him the first time I went to St. Vincents in Carmel for the informational group. Then I met with him afterwards and knew he was the surgeon I could trust. His staff was very helpful and supportive through the whole process. The ONLY problem I had with Dr. Diaz was that I lived three hours away. But it was worth the drive. He and his staff have always been available for me. Aftercare is stressed by them although I am not able to go to support groups because they're so far from me and I don't drive. He explained all risks of surgery more then once and made sure I understood. I would rate him exellant in every way Both bedside manner and surgical competence were no problem with Dr. Diaz.
