He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Evanson began his bariatric training during his residency, and he specializes in bariatric laparoscopic procedures, including the Lap-Band, at the St.Vincent program.

I was 2002 Rny bypass. He made my pouch size of small egg. I lost 138 lbs. 18 years later i can hold 1 cup of solid food. Watching carbs somewhat I stay near 168. I am 68 years old and doing great!!! .
