Ascension St. Vincent - Carmel Bariatrics Hospital
My first impression was "she was a Dr. you know how they are." :) She was polite, direct & straight to the point.Office staff were friendly really didnt have any thing to say indifferently about them.It all happens really quick as far as the initial consultation goes. You only get to see Dr Inman 12 mins tops , no kidding. She then has a group session that informs you of all of the other groups and the staff you can work with to help with your before & aftercare. There are exercise groups support groups diaticians you can see.As far as the risks of surgery she lets you know there is a 1 in 100 chance that you can die just from the surgery. She is very (like i said) to the point about what you have to do for your own health before & after the procedure. She gives you her opinion why society has become obese & why some people dont gain wt like others. How would i rate Dr. Inman ? well so far i feel that she is the best choice for me. I have researched on the net & alot of people say she is the best & that was really incouraging to me.If someone has had problems with there post op I have seen alot of posts that tell those people to get to Dr Inman specifically & that is really encouraging.

I liked Dr. Inman right away. Her staff is very helpful. Her phy assistant , Holly, takes good care of me also. I would tell anyone to go to them. They are always ready to help with any question I have. They make sure you go to the dietitian the same day you have an appointment with her. Her office want you to go to a support meeting once a month.
When I first heard Dr. Evanson speak during the initial group consultation in Dec. 2003, I was impressed with his compassion for the morbidly obese. When I met with him 1-1 later that day, I was impressed with his professionalism. He is a kind and caring person. While in the hospital, I was comfortable with his care. My admiration for him has continued to grow in my postop visits. He truly cares about his patients and wants them to succeed. He is encouraging and supportive and takes the time to answer all of my questions without seeming rushed. As an RN for 25 years, I have met alot of surgeons. Many of them are technically proficient, but emotionally cold. Dr. Evanson makes me feel that he has a personal stake in my success and encourages me to reach my full potential. What more could you ask for in a surgeon? I have only had positive experiences with his office staff. I highly recommend Dr. Evanson to anyone considering this surgery.

I loved Dr. Inman. During my consultaion I found her to be very energetic and positive. I didn't hurt that she told me she could feel my ribs. :) I had given up on feeling any bones on my body 50 pounds ago! I went all the way home telling my husband I had ribs and you could feel them!!! So I can have a Lap RNY. Dr. Inman was very open and to the point during the meeting. She explained the different types of procedures and the complications/risks. Very good first impression with both husband and myself. We met her NP, Holly, just briefly during the initial meeting. Holly seemed very friendly. The office staff at the Bariatric treatment Center at St.V's was very, very nice. They made me feel comfortable immediately. And I loved the large chairs in the waiting area! It seems as though the entire program is very well structured. I would rate my initial visit a 10/10.
Dr. Inman, along with GOD, not only saved my life, but gave me new hope, happiness, and the energy I need to handle the 2 joys of my life.....My daughter and my son. She's a top notch surgeon, to make it short. I could fill this whole column on the good things about her, but i'll just leave it at this........ I don't regret my choice of surgeons for an instant, and would choose her all over again.
