I found that the night staff did not live up to their requirements of waking you to walk every 2 hours at night, plus a few of the techs acted "put out" when you needed them. I did have one nurse that seemed rushed and I didn't move quick enough for her.

There are many reasons St. Vincent's Carmel is a Bariatric Center of EXCELLLENCE. I have not one complaint about my treatment, the facilty or the aftercare program. It is the BEST!

'Dr. Inman is very straight forward. She's sensitive and understanding. Her office staff is great and her physician's assistant is wonderful. I've only met her once

I have completed my consult with Dr. Evanson and was quite impressed with his presentation. I have attended a presentation on baratric surgery in Florida and found Dr. Evanson to be more informed and also caring with the large person. He doesn't make them feel that they are just lazy about watching what they eat. I have had my phsyc evaluation and all my ducks are in a row for the surgery. All that I am waiting for is the insurance letter of approval. Just waiting has created a lot of stress for me.

Had consult today, 1st impression... Dr. Evanson seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Excellent presentation which answered most questions of both myself and husband. Throughly covered procedure options and aftercare. Discussed pros and cons as well as risks of each procedure and WLS. On a scale of 1-10; 1st impression is a strong 9. Why not a 10? I would have like for Dr. Evanson to ask me a question or two in the one on one consultation. I guess he assumed everything about me was in the packet I had completed prior to the consult.
Office staff seemed quite personable.
I think surgical competence and beside manner go hand in hand. Part of the confidence level of the patient is dependent on bedside manner. Confidence in the surgeon aids in speedy recovery.

I had the most wonderful hospital experience! I was very scared because I had never stayed in teh hospital overnight, but I wanted for nothing. These people know their stuff and took very good care of me.

OMG Dr Evanson is like soooo awsome. If you are thinking of having surgery you have got to talk to this man he is the sweetest. Very kind hearted and caring. Although he is soooo dang skinny he still seems to understand and be compasionate to over weight people. ALL I can say is talk to him you will see for yourself. There is not enough words to describe this man. Just trust me GO SEE HIM. Oh and another thing i forgot to mention. For many years my legs have been very very large always swollen and my family Dr. really never said much about it just oh your legs are swollen well no duh. The day I went in for surgery was the very first time Dr Evanson got a look at my legs and as soon as he seen them he was like MARY you have lymphodema. HOW EVER THAT IS SPELLED LOL. Anyway I was like what and so He explained to me what it was and man am I glad he figured that out. But i was really impressed because just one look and he knew what was wrong with my legs. My calves messured at 35 inches around the day after my surgery. Now they measure at about 19 to 20 inches. So thanks bunches Doc.

When i first saw Dr. Evanson i thought of my son. Looked the same age. I brought my mother with me on my consult and she and i both were very impressed with him. He really seems to know what he is talking about and he seems like he really cares about you. He told us of all the risks, aftercared and just the future of his patients. I am also very happy with his staff. They have been very kind and quick. I havent had the surgery yet but as of right now i would rate Dr. Evanson a 10.

DR INMAN IS A WONDERFUL SURGEON, SHE TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF ME AND I REALLY OWE HER A LOT HER BEDSIDE MANNOR AS WELL AS HER SURGICAL SKILLS WERE EXCELLANT I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO SELECT HER AS THEIR SURGEON I CANNOT EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW GREAT SHE WAS
