Ascension St. Vincent - Carmel Bariatrics Hospital
Dr. Inman is very knowledgable and very sincere about what she does. Her staff is great! I've only had my consultation but the consultation was full of information...there was no need for questions because the consult was very thorough. I have great confidence in her and her abilities to help me have a great outcome :)
Dr Evanson is great. He's this skinny white man with curly long hair. Looks like he is from Cali and I told him so to his face but he is really from Minnesosota. CAme to see me as I was walking in the hall after surgery and asked\" how his girl was doing?\" I got all dreamy. He's a great surgeon and not bad to look at either. Let me go home as long as I was following instructions. Would recommend him to those that want a lap- my incisions are healing beautifully after just one week. He really likes people to go to the nutritionist and support groups and wants this to be a life time change for all his patients. I feel he listens patiently and with compassion.

My first impression of Dr Evanson is that he could be Chris Katan's (SNL guy) brother. I think he's cute for a Christ Katan look-alike. He was very informative and open to any questions I had during my one on one. I am happy with my choice of dr. He is young, but knows his stuff. Also, when his staff talks about him, you know that they enjoy working with him and know he does good work.
I really liked Dr. Inman from the beginning and I liked her even more over time. Her office staff was very friendly but sometimes they would take a while to get back to you. If I had to pick one thing that I didn't like as well is that she moves pretty fast through your visit, but I work in the medical field and that is pretty typical of surgeons. ( -: She is very knowledgeable and has years of experience and will make you feel comfortable about the surgery. Her aftercare is with St. Vincent's and they have a wonderful program. She addressed the pros and cons of surgery thoroughly and I would rate her a 9 or 10 overall. I think bedside manner is great, but between the two surgical competence would have to be first. Dr. Inman has both, she's a very upbeat person and her reputation speaks for itself.
I love Dr. Evanson. He's cute and enthusiastic. He seems to get a lot of joy from what he is able to do for obese people. I felt I was well prepared for surgery, and I'm prepared for my new life. I received fantastic care in the hospital, and was pleased to know that several of the nurses had gone through bariatric surgery also. I give Dr. Evanson and St. Vincent's Bariatric Center of Excellence a double thumbs up!!!
