The staff was fantastic from the security guards at the parking lot to the maintence people that cleaned all the way up to the excellent nursing staff. My only complaint was it was a little noisy at night but my room was right by the nurse's station. They closed my door and it was no problem. All patients receive a private room and my wife was allowed to stay in the room all 4 days that I was there. She showered in my room and got ready for work just as if we were at home. The nurses were just fantastic. My experience was just the best and I would highly recommend this hospital. The food was not very tasty.

Everything about my experience has been good. From the doctors, to the hospital staff, I would have no problem recommending others to this facility.

The day shift staff was excellent and very responsive. It was the late afternoon and late night that was terrible. Over 15 minutes to answer a call button. I was left alone for up to 4 hours at a time during the night before someone checked on me.

Overall my care was good, did not see a whole lot of the nurses for personal care, etc. I had someone stay with me, which they had no problem with. They were wonderful about letting my large family, along with my 2 year old visit.

The Nurses and Doctors gave me what I would call "cruise ship quality" treatment. I would use this hospital in a jeartbeat again if something else develops. Also I had to use their 24 hour crisis line pre op and they responded to me with a return phone call within literally seconds.

I would rate the hospital between average and good. The nurses on the 5th floor were great. The presurgery rooms werent that great though. They were crowded and people werent that friendly.

I was very pleased with this hospital's employees on the bariatric floor. They were quick to answer call lights, quick to administer care and medication when needed/requested, and were very cheerful. The ONLY two complaints I had were: 1)the bars around the toilet were too close to the toilet making it difficult to maneuver, and 2)I had to ask that the curtains be pulled and/or the door closed for dressing changes and privacy (not every time, but enough times that it bothered me...this is a 'pet peeve' of mine).
If I ever needed surgery in the future, I would return to St. Vincent Charity's.

This center does not return calls. Most Calls are picked by an answering machine. If the level of custmoer service is anything like the surgical care. I like the idea of going to a place that has lots of experience, that's why I did not choose the Clev. Clinic. But I least the clinic answered my questions and did not request the same info over and over again.
