Sacred Heart Medical Center Hospital

I think it's a terrific hospital.Having bad to say about it. If still in Spokane, I would only go there.

I would recommend anyone who goes to this hospital that you are getting the best care available. This hospital overall was terrific.

A large and well respected hospital in Western Wa. The staff are good, my private room was decorated and lovely in mauve colors. I had a Barri-Bed for use post-op. I was very pleased

This hospital has to be one of the best in the world. During my stay the staff that I encountered were wonderful. They helped me in any way that I needed help.

I am hooked on this hospital and their fantastic care they provide to their patients. I will only use sacred heart from this point on. I had always heard that they were a great hospital and had never been admitted there, and everything I heard and more was true.

The nurses and assisants were great. They were very helpful and responsive.

I did not have a good experience. The nurses did not seem to know much about gastric bypass patients and their needs and generally seemed disinterested. I am not satisfied with the care I received.

The staff seemed bored and uninterested in the mental well-being of its patients. There was inconsistency in the quality of care and far too much noise to get any sleep done. I heard lots of racket being next to the nurses station - laughing and joking - then when the nurses would come into my room they were stoic and unfriendly. I heard the ringing of the "call buttons" constantly being ignored - they would ring 15-20 minutes on end and I could see the nurses at that desk just ignoring them. The financial info lady had no idea what she was talking about when she came to notify me of my "financial responsibilities" - she didn't even know I had been pre-approved for the surgery or that I had already paid my co-pay up front - I had to inform HER of how my insurance company works and that I would need someone to call for an extension if I was expected to be in for more than 3 days.

I had everything to make my surgery a success. The bari-bed, compression socks, oversize toilet. And nurses that were used to bariatric surgery.

Anybody who has to have wls would completely be treated and cared for at this hospital.
