Everyone was nice. I had to wait forever the day of surgery before anyone came to hook up my IV or anything. Recovery was good, but when i got to my room once you called for pain meds it took quite a while to get them. Other than that everything was pretty good.

The pre-op staff was awful. The post op staff was very good.

I would have to say that their pre- admit procedures need a lot of work. There seemed to be no order to any thing and it took about 4 hours to complete. However, the floor (4th) that takes care of bariatric patients is absolutely awesome. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff on the 4th floor. Also, Kelli, who is the bariatric nurse is terrific! The floor staff made up for the horrible experience with all of the pre-admit stuff!!

The staff that takes care of Bariatric patients are tops...They are caring, concerned, and excited right along with you. I was never made to feel I had to wait for anything and also their concern for my comfort was amazing.

I felt the hospital was well equiped for obese patients. You do have a rather long weight in recovery waiting for a room to become available. I had a night nurse that did not want to be there. She keep complaining about the hospital, which you do not want to hear when you have just had surgery. I did feel that I got good care while in this hospital.

Everyone that I came in contact with (the admitting office, the pre-surgery room nurses, the floor nurses and techs, the x-ray dept, and the volunteers) were the friendliest people I have ever encountered in a hospital. They all seemed as if they loved their job. Even employees that would pass you in the halls would smile and say hi!!! It made for a VERY pleasant stay.

I was very pleased with almost every aspect of this hospital. I had a jerk as my anesthesiologist. I was not happy with him at all.

everything was great, from the pre nurse in pre-op, surgery staff, & the nurses on the floor. Everyone was great.

The staff was very kind and helpful. I often felt like I was the one and only patient that they had to deal with (which of course is not true). Everyone I meet there was very encouraging and supportive of my surgery and goals.
