I was so impressed with the wonderful care I received at NEMC. The nurses were fantastic. I highly recommend NEMC for weight loss surgery.

The hospital was average. The nursing care a bit concerning as I am a nurse I was able to see the areas of lacking.

The OR staff and the PACU nurses were great. Some of the PACU nurses didn't know alot about wls needs, they had to double check, but it didn't put any kind of emotional or physical demand on me. My PACU nurse stayed with me the whole entire day that I was there.

For a program that stresses walking as much as possible, I was surprised that I had to ring the nurse and ask if I could walk. It was almost like they had treated me and now it was on to the next patient.

Two exceptions were Nurses Jenn and Kristin. They were very caring and showed up often to make sure I didn't need anything.
