Morristown Memorial Hospital Hospital
I was completely impressed with the nursing care. You hear many stories about understaffing in hospitals and waiting for assistance. The nursing staff at MMH was outstanding. Tracy, Ellen and Agustin were my primary nurses and they were so compassionate. I felt that I was not only in good hands, but that they actually CARED.
The hospital stay was a good as it was because I had my surgeon write an order for my mother to stay in my room with me the entire postop time. She ran around for me, got ice, adjusted pillows, help me go to the bathroom and every other little and big thing I needed. Face it nurses are overextened as is there is no way they could or would have done all these things for me.
I cant say enough about Morristown Memorial or its Staff. The OR nursing staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and reassure me before the surgery, and also be there when i woke up. My floor nurses were top notch, attentive and caring, and always quick to respond to any needs that came up.
