Dr. Fiallo is a wonderful surgeon. He explained everything to me and was very straight forward. I am extremely happy and content with my choice of surgeons and would recommend Dr. Fiallo to anyone who is considering this operation.I cannot say enough about him - everything went wonderfully :)

Overall the RNs on the 5th floor are wonderful. I only had one bad experience and the supervisors and risk manager I reported it to were professional and very receptive to what I had to say. Overall the staff was excellent- just one bad apple and I think she is going to get picked if she doesn't come up to hospital standards. Mercy is a pretty good hospital and is trying to put together a top notch bariatric program. You don't need to go to Baystate for these services. Give Mercy a chance.

This hospital has recently opened a set of 6 rooms for obese patients, and the nurses are very attentive, yet help you to do as uch as you can yourself.
