The staff was excellent from the moment I was taken in for the surgery. The nurse who prepped me for surgery could tell I was nervous, so she did all she could to calm me. On the floor which I stayed my remaining hospital stay after surgery, all the staff was very good to me. They would help comfort me from pain and anything else they could do. I would give them a 5 star...they were so good.

Dr. Toder knows her stuff! I am so glad I decided to have her for my surgeon. She really cares about what happens to you. rnrnThe office staff are great, I have never felt like I was shoved out the door like other places. When some things needed to be done asap, they were done asap, with no questions asked, just a smile. rnrnNo question: I would recommend Dr. Toder as #1 choice for surgeon if you decide to have bariatric surgery. rnrn

I had a great experience with EMMC. The only thing that was alittle bit of an annoyance was the noise near the desk (no matter what time of day or night). I have read that in other posts also, so I guess it is something to be prepared for, ask for ear plugs!. Other than that, the nurses, nurse tech, and everybody I came in cntact with were great! I wish I could remember some of their names.

My first impression of Dr.Toder was that she was real. Wasn't going to tell me what I needed to hear but that facts. She didn't have that holierthan though attitude most surgeons have (I'm a nurse I deal with those kinds all the time). It was like sitting down and having a conversation with any regular person.rnShe was very informative regarding the procedure and the reasons I might be able to have Lap and the reasons I might end up with open. She shots straight from the hip no cottelingbut that works for me.rnAs far as what's better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or both. my answer is give me somebody who knows what there doing inside of me anyday then if he/she sits on the bed and pats me on the hand to tell me everything is going to be just fine.

Dr. Toder is an excellent surgeon. She is very straightforward and up front with her questions and concerns, and it is important to be frank with her, as well. She almost didn't do my surgery because I had gained some weight, but thanks Goodness, she went ahead with it. I later let her know how devastating it would have been for me if she had cancelled my surgery, and that the fact that I had gained weight was not an indication that I was not ready for the surgery or did not take it seriously. It had gotten to the point that no matter how hard I tried, I could not maintain weight loss - that's why I was in this position in the first place!rnDr. Toder is very pleased with my progress and my weight loss. I don't think there's a better bariatric surgeon out there than Michelle Toder.

Wonderful caring staff, loved the nurses they're great! My room was the first on the wing and the noise from the doors opening and closing constantly made it hard to rest, The air conditioning did not work properly in my room and it did get hot. There is a need to update the patient rooms and the television sets on the wing I stayed in, The tv's are only visible from the side of the bed, small and they don't get many channels. But overall I had a great experience

everything was GREAT except that they allowed too many visitors in that were loud to other patient and I got no rest when they were there several times a day. They need to stick to the amount that is alowed and visitors must keep quiet and respect other patients in room. Other than that everything was GREAT.

Dr. Toder is very knowledgeable about bariatric surgery. My impression of her is that she is very up front and to the point, which is a quality I appreciate in a doctor. She was very caring and understanding, and was willing to answer any questions that I had. I did not feel rushed during my appointments. Also, her staff is very kind and she never seems to be running behind on her appointment times.

My first impression of Dr. Toder was that she was very proffessional and extremely knowledgeable. She really knows her stuff. I was immediately at ease with her and able to ask all questions that I had pre-op. The day of the surgery she visited as they were preping me....again, she was very reassuring. I am extremely pleased with my choice of facilities and especially the surgeon. I feel like I was given a second chance.... THANK YOU DR. TODER :)
