I think that the nurses on the floor should have been more informed or taken some kind of training(taught by an obese individual) on how to move the patient around, how to clean an obese patient, etc. Other than that the hospital was terrific and the informed staff.

Night nurses were extremely bad. The worst
imaginable. Told nurse that IV was bad.
She looked at it said nothing wrong with it
and proceded to administer morphine for pain.
Told her that it was burning. Pain brought
me to instant tears, unable to focus. Told her
she was hurting me. She ignored me and
proceeded to push to viles of saline thru
and cause lower arm to bruise badly. Took
husband going to next floor inorder to retreve
a nurse who removed iv immediatley and said that
the med had not even reached veins. Nothing
done to nurse and no appology from hospital!

Lynn spoke to me NOT at me. I found her to be friendly and professional at the same time. Truely it is a pleasure to think of working with her in the future.

My first impression with Dr. Toder was that she was very friendly and down to earth. My impression of her has not changed at all. The office staff is extremely friendly. My biggest disappointment with Dr. Toder is that she went on vacation the day after my surgery. Not that I wasn't left in the hands of a wonderful Dr., it was just a personal disappointment. Dr. Toder puts alot of emphasis on after care, even requiring visits with a dieticiian every few months. As far as the risks of surgery go she was very up front about everything, even telling me that she had lost one patient doing this type of surgery. The patient had died before actually being operated on, while on the table from a blood clot, but I really appreciated her honesty.
