TriStar Centennial Medical Center Hospital
When I met Dr. Dyer I was very impressed with how patient he was. He didn't seem to be in a hurry to get our consultation over with as quick as possible. Of course, I had a million questions about the surgery and quite honestly I wasn't sure which surgery I wanted to have. He took the time to go over both surgeries with me and answered any questions I had about both. When it was all said and done I knew gastric bypass was the choice for me. My husband accompanied me to the consultation and Dr. Dyer also answered all his questions. The office staff is always helpful and friendly to me. One thing I like about Dr. Dyer is that he doesn't sugar coat anything. He just tells you like it is. That is something I respect in a doctor. The program from start to finish is surperb. The follow up care has proven to be extensive and that makes my success more guaranteed. The nurses that took care of me after surgery were so great! The nurses have obviously been trained extensively on how to care for bariatric patients. I would reccomend Dr. Dyer to anyone considering weightloss surgery. Dr. Dyer had the competence and bedside manner to go along with it. That is hard to find sometimes. I feel greatful to him and his staff for my quick and successful recovery.
I saw him in person at the WLS seminar-have not had consult yetrnHis wife introduced herself after I asked a question about previous C sections and if the adhesions from that would prevent lap surgery and require an open RNY-she happened to be sitting next to me!rnMy first impression of him was informative but not much expression when delivering info. However-I was very impressed with the way he answered the questions posed by possible surgical candidates-the answers were both informative and expressive.
I am very impress with Dr. Dyer and his staff. They have been so helpful and patient. They have answered all my questions and followed up with me. It has been almost two weeks since my Lapband procedure. I have lost 27lbs so far. I am so happy to be part of the team. This is how they make me feel. I am looking forward to rest of the journey.
Dr.Dyer performed my surgery on 8/01/07 and I have to say I have been very pleased with the results so far. Dr.Dyer sat down with me and explained everything that was going to happen so I had no fear going into surgery. The office staff are some of the best. They care about you and effectively explain anything you need to know.rnI weighted 455lbs. on June 8th when I went in for my first visit,I weighted 416lbs on August 7th when I returned for my follow up visit
Dr. Dyer was completely involved in what my questions were about the surgery. I have nothing but praises about him and his staff. The afercare program is outstanding. It seems you wait less in the lobby after you have had the surgery and beofre surgery. Dr. Dyer gets a 11 out of 10 in my book.
Dr. David Dyer was very direct with me in letting me know about the surgery and it's side effects, but also told me about the out come of it all and how it would change my life. His office staff was very friendly and helpful. If your looking for a good surgeon I fully recomend David Dyer, he's honest and friendly although he really should smile more, but overall the best. He emphasizes aftercare very much because it's very important so you know how well your doing, or if you need help on any other level. His surgical competence is very forth coming, he knows what he's doing and his bedside manner is good too. I recomend David Dyer to anyone in need of help with obesity problems because he's the man to help you. Thank you Dr. Dyer for changing my life and making it possible for me to even have a life again, God Bless you.

His staff are the greatest and so kind, rnthere are like family. If i had this to do all over again, i would do it and Dr. Dyer would be the one to do it. On April2, My daughter had gastric bypass like i did and doing great. She loves Dr. Dayer, What else can i say,if this rndon`t sell you on Dr. Dyer, well good luck.rn Ronald Battlesrn [email protected]
I thought that he was a very intelligent doctor and felt very much at ease that he was going to do everything he could to have a laproscopic surgery. I must say that I know alot of people who have used doctor Olsen and have only had many praises to sing for him. I am just post op, but he did stress pre-op the importance of sticking with the plan especially until you get to the weight that you want to be. There is a very structured aftercare program that include dieticians, exercise physiologist, and even psychiatic care, to figure out how we got here, prevention in the future. rnOVERALL I would say that he is wonderful. rnAnd his surgical competence is awesome and his beside manner is appropriate. Great Doc I would recommend him to all my friends, actually have to one person.
I first met Dr. Dyer at the Bariatric Surgery Seminar at Centennial Hospital almost one year ago. I then went online and looked up his profile. I learned that Dr. Dyer was exceptionally educated, trained and experienced in preforming laporascopic bariatric surgery. In addition, the patience he exhibited during the seminar concerning all of the questions posed him also impressed me. When I had finally met my insurance requirements to procede with my surgery, I met with Dr. Dyer for my pre-surgery consultation and I was very pleased with the time he spent answering my questions, concerns and fears, in addition to explaining all of the bariatric surgery options available to me. He and his staff have been very supportive throughout my bariatric surgery experience. My surgery was May 10th and the surgery went well without complications. I could not believe that I was going home just 2 days post surgery. I have continued to follow Dr. Dyer's specific instructions and I am progressing well. Certainly, I would recommend Dr. Dyer and his team for your bariatric surgery.
