It was very nice to have a floor strictly devoted to bariatric surgery. It was nice in the aspect that the staff was trained in bariatric care. We were the only type of patients on that floor so I didn't have to worry about other people that were there judging me because I was overweight.

The staff @ Blodgett was absolutely incredible. You really feel like a person and not a patient/number. Really nice stay.

The staff was amazing. The rooms were private, nice and large. Everything from seats to wheelchairs were very accommodating for people of size. Excellent stay.

Wonderful staff gave great care. At times I felt they were a little busy and maybe short staffed, but my care never suffered and everyone was knowledgeable and gave excellent care. I would highly recommend it.

I loved Spectrum-Blodgett because that have an entire staff/floor just for bariatric patients. They understand the struggles of the different surgeries and the needs of the different patients. They are very accomidating and want to make sure you are well taken care of. I really had a great stay.

The hospital and staff were awesome. They have a seperate bariatric wing so we are all there for the same reason. which made is very comfortable. There were only 5 patients there when I was there so the nurse and NA were able to give you all kinds of help and attention. They explained everything that was going on and made sure that if we needed anything we had it. I would recommened this hospital to anyone who is having WLS.

Everyone was wonderful, very friendly and cheerful, making me feel welcome and special, making me laugh despite the nervousness I felt. Dr. Baker was a gem (my family loved him); I asked him to talk to me while he operated, saying positive, healing things, and he did. My nurses were all sweet and very helpful. I trust this hospital completely and would recommend it to anyone seeking WLS or any other treatment.
