Barix Clinics - Ohio Hospital
After having pre-admission testing difficulties I was ready to change hospitals. Nobody would give me the same answer to questions, and I found out I had been posponed at the last minute-no call or warning. They said it was explained-my word against theirs. Very Very bad experience. Then I show up the morning of surgery on time, no beds to show us to, waited in lobby for 1 hr, then escorted upstairs to preop waiting--no TV, hard seats, very small. After that, things better, pre-op nurse wonderful, couldn't get my veins (throughout all hospitalization) Couldn't get pain control in recovery-kept getting IV meds, no help, she said I would just have to wait to get to the floor to get my pump. Understaffed the first night, didn't get up as often as I should have, Respiratory therapist did job well, overall, staff was nice, but I have had better.
