I just got off the phone with this facility. My insurance will be covering revisions of surgeries as of 1/1/04 and the woman that I spoke with on the phone basically yelled at me and told me I was VERY mistaken and I need to learn more about my insurance before I call back. You can guarantee I will NOT be calling them again.

I would recommend it to anyone having this type of surgery. They have several good doctors. Dr. Michael Adolph is AWESOME!!!!!

They were very well equipped and very accomodating. It was a little noisy but that didn't matter, they don't give you much time to sleep. The big thing there is to get you up and walking around the clock which we all know is necessary to prevent blood clots. I believe there are only 25 beds or so here so needless to say, you get plenty of attention and assistance if it's needed. The nurses and other caregivers are the absolute best. I almost cried when I left because I truly felt I had made friends there.

BTC is very accomodating to the overweight patient. You never have to feel guilty about your weight or shamed. They give you just enough privacy and are never too far away when you need help. All of your needs are taken very much in stride and you never have to be embarrassed.
