Atlanta Medical Center (COE) Hospital
BRING YOUR SPOUSE ALONG WITH YOU OR FRIEND OF WHATEVER. MY DR DID 6 SURGERIES THAT DAY AND THE HOSPITAL STAFF WAS NOT AVAILAIBLE TO WALK ME AS MUCH AS I WANTED BUT SINCE I KNEW THIS BEFOR HAND I ENSLISTED MY HUSBAND AND I DID NOT NEED THE NURSES TO WALK ME. PLEASE GET OUT OF BED IMMEDIATELY YOU MAY BE IN PAIN.( I WASN'T) BUT GETTING OUT OF BED AND WALKING WAS THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE DONE
I was so ticked at this hospital...first there was a roach in the room where I was supposed to change into my gown. Then they had me in a holding area for 3 hours before my surgery. My surgery was late. And the bariatric floor is next to the helicopter pad so sleeping at night was not a given. Then my morphine pump broke...and they took there time to get it fixed..it just kept beeping. I was ticked...and then the next day when it was time for me to get discharged..they had just given me medication that made me sleeping but the nurse basicallytold me we had to leave right away because other people needed the room. I was pissed.
