I met Dr Clark when a friend of mine had WLS. I met and talked with him. My first impression of him was very positive. He was professional and courteous. He never made you feel silly for asking a question, and was very open and honest-never dodging any questions. People in the office are very professional. He took such good care of my friend. His personal care for her didn't stop after surgery. After seeing the treatment and respect he gives his patients, I would never even consider going anywhere else. If he had to receive a letter grade I would have to give him an A plus. If any of my opinions change I will let you know!!

I have only seen this surgeon once. I will be going to see him alot in the next few weeks. He is very good looking. He seems to care about his patients.

His staff are very down to earth and really know what they are doing.

This office doctor and staff are very concerned about your operation and after-care.

There is alot I will say later about him and his staff

Dr. Clark is the most caring physician I have ever dealt with. He does all the work himself and with the exception of vacation, he never had a fill in. I had a lot of complications after my initial gastric bypass/vertibandy surgery and I truly believe that part of the reason I made it through it was because of Dr. Clark. He is a wonderful surgeon and really knows is stuff. He is very caring and very cautious about his patient's recover. He is the most involved doctor I have ever met.

My first impression of Dr. Clark was very positive. He described everything that I would experience in each stage of the process.

My impression of Dr. Clark only became better. He and his staff are very caring and concerned about each of their patients and their family.

Dr. Clark's office staff is very helpful. They all care about their patients and each other. They are all there for any questions you have at any time. They are also very truthful in the answers that they give you.

I honestly have nothing but praise for Dr. Clark and his staff.

Future patients should know that Dr. Clark and his staff will be honest and up front with all the information, good and bad.

Aftercare is VERY important because this is a life changing procedure. Dr. Clark and his staff make sure this is understood before the surgery is even scheduled.

Dr. Clark and his staff have a very scheduled aftercare program, with everything from appointments to a support group.

Dr. Clark and his staff go over the risks of the surgery with you AND your family(if you would like). After the risks are discussed, they also give you literature about the procedure with statisics as well as web site information. They want you to realize all of the "pro's and con's" of the surgery.

Overall I would say that I was truely blessed to have Dr. Clark and his staff as my care providers. They were and are always there for me, my husband and the rest of my family. Although no surgery is ever easy, I knew that I always had someone their to answer questions truthfully. I even called when I bought my first pair of size 8 jeans(remember Sean). This journey was one of the most exciting things that I have ever done. What a blessing it was for me to have Dr. Thomas and Carol Clark, Sean and my absolutely wonderful and supportive husband, Chris, there with me every step of the way.

Everything from my first initial appointment to now has been wonderful.

I was very forunate that my experience was so positive. I understand that some people are not as lucky. I had no complication. I also had a terrific medical team from start to finish. I understand that some may say that everything can't be positive but as for me and my experience.. It was and is.

I have gone to the initial informative meeting held by Dr. Clark. He most certainly gives an informative presentation being certain to let us know the good and the risks. He comes across as a very confident and caring surgeon. I am happy he is doing my surgery. The office staff has been extremely supportive and compassionate. I will post more as time follows.

My first impression of Dr. Clark was one of kindness and confidence. Any questions I needed answers to he was more than happy to oblige. Going to a new doctor for the first time always has one a little comprehensive, especially going to a weight doctor. I knew exactly how I wanted his staff to be they were more than what I expected. They were all open, friendly people, who always had smiles on their faces and always had a kind word. I was always complimented on my apperance, even before having the surgery.
Dr. Clark has the best bed side manner of any doctor I've ever seen. Always greeted me with a smile while I was in the hospital. Thank you so much.

My very first impression of Dr Clark was that he was so nice nad understanding, and never made me feel like I did something wrong by becoming so overweight.

My impression never changed I still fee the same way about him today, and actually, I feel like he is with me all the time, since this sugery could not have been done without him.

The office staff is awesome...they always remember your name and always have a smile and a kind word to say, nomatter how much you call and bug them with questions and concerns.

There is nothing that I liked least about him, nothing at all.

Future patients should know that you are in great hands. He treats you with respect and dignity, no matter how bad you feel about yourself.

He always gives good advice and instructions about after care and he always reassures mr to call if i have any question at all.

We have a wonderful support group, and that is all the before and after care that i needed...just knowing there are other people who share the same feelings and concerns as I do and did.

Dr Clark was very honest with me about the sugery, but he was also very reassuring. He necer said that it would be a walk in the park, especially at first, but I Knew as wee as he knew that this was the best decesion that I could ever make for MYSELF!!!

I would rate him a 10 in my book as well in all my other friends who has visited him and had the sugery, and is thinking aboiut having the sugery as well.

His surgical competence is wonderful, but my all time favorite is bedside manner. I mean I Knew this was his job and how he supplied a good life for his family, but by just talking to him before the sugery and after the sugery.....he cared and cares about ME and my well being, professionally and emotionally.

Just like everyone else, I had trepidations about having the surgery and meeting my surgeon...BUT, after I met with Dr. Clark and his staff...it was like old home week...they are all so caring and compassionate and knowledgeable...this has increased my respect and admiration for them and for what they do...they touch so many different lives and leave such an indeliable and positive mark...I thank God that I crossed paths with them and that I proceeded with the surgery...without being able to trust and knowing how much they care it would have turned out so much different...the program that Dr. Clark offers has such a wide range of coverage both for the physical, emotional and intellectual aspects both before, during and after surgery and they are constantly monitoring their programs for additional improvement and as he constantly reminds everyone, this is just a TOOL, it is all basically up to us as individuals, he can only be a helper, as assistant so to speak...His abilities as a man, a surgeon, a bedside physician and a teacher are, in my opinion, very good indeed !!! I would recommend Dr. Clark and his staff in a literal 'heartbeat'...because that is what makes them some unique...the 'heart'...They, after my searching and ultimate decision, basically gave me a new lease on life...as of today I have lost 70 pounds and plan on going a lot farther and I have the confidence to go there because they were of such valuable assistance in getting me to this particular place...I will forever look back on September 16, 2002 as my second 'birthday', a day in which I was reborn. Keep in mind, these are people, just like you and me...mistakes can and will be made on any and all levels, BUT, I believe that the intentions, and skill and knowledge are there...you have to decide for yourself...I, for one, have made my decision and would do it again without any hesitation...Thank you Dr. Clark and ALL of your staff. I am VERY GRATEFUL TO YOU!
