At first I thought Dr. Clark was too young to be that experienced. Fortunately, after going to the monthly support meetings, I learned how warm and caring he is and how respected he is as a surgeon.
His staff is first rate and very caring.
So far, I can not think of a thing that I dislike. I find they make the whole process much easier.
Aftercare is emphasized to the utmost.
The risks of surgery were explained fully. I am not afraid of dying, I don't feel the Lord is ready to call me home. There is too much left for me to do here and I want to have the energy to do it.

Dr. Clark is wonderful. He is very open and honest. I saw him speak at a support group meeting and he took many questions. He was patient and thorough. At my consult he advised me of the procedure from start to finish, all of the risks, as well as what to expect after the surgery. The only thing negitive I have to say is that Dr. Clark is very busy and it took about 6 weeks to get the consult. The staff at Oyster Point is very friendly. Shawn, the coordinator, is fantastic. I'm a bit of a control freak and she was very patient with my phone calls. I have been very satisfied with my experience thus far.

I contacted Dr. Clark's office for an appointment and they said they had to mail out a packet of information to read before they would make an appointment. Well, I have read the material and called today for an appointment. Dr. Clark can not see me until the 2nd week in July. He will see me for 1 hour to discuss the surgery and then start the insurance process. I will attend my first support group meeting next week. The office staff was very informative over the phone. So stay tuned!!!!

I have now met with Dr. Clark and found him to be very informative. He explained in detailed the surgery and what to expect. I am now waiting for the approval from the insurance company in order to schedule the surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Clark was, Wow this guy is really handsome and has such a caring look about him. He was very informative in the support group meeting I attended. My initial office visit was very informative, Dr. Clark answered all my questions, and was very thorough and knowledgeable.

His staff was very friendly and I'm looking forward to working with them in the future.

Dr. Clark recommends that after the surgery you listen to your body, and get as much rest as you feel you need if you need to take 6-8 weeks do it.

The risk of surgery was addressed in a very honest and clear manner.

So far I think I've made an excellent choice with Dr. Clark.

Dr. Clark is very knowdgeable about the procedure. He is a very caring physician before and after the surgery. Not only did his staff send me the info before going to see him but after I got there he went over every thing that was in the booklet. He is a cutie-patootie. He was very professional though and I liked that. The staff was very informative and Jamie was very much in tuned with his rules and procedures. I had my surgery the 25th of Sept. 00. I came home Friday and I feel fine not 100% but it will come. I go back to him this Friday and get my staples out. I can't wait until then and see how much weight I have lost. What ever you do after and before walk walk walk. It will be much better on you.

It has been 4 months and I have lost 100 pounds and feel good. I am so thankful for Dr. Clark, if he wasn't married I would marry him myself. Thanks!!!!!

I met Dr. Clark for the first time today. He was wonderful. He
took all the time I needed to describe the surgery to me and answer
all my questions. Very straight forward.
I found his staff to be very supportive as well. Before I left the office
his insurance gal called Healthkeepers to see if they cover the
operation, and they do.

I had already met Dr. Clark at a seminar I attended, and also at a support group meeting. He is very knowegable and seems to understand the suffering obese people go through in their daily lives.
So, I was happy to call and receive an appointment date of February 15th. Dr. Clark was very friendly and explained the procedures...both the good things and the possible problems. He was very down to earth and spoke as a friend, rather than an authority figure. He really put me at ease...and I went away with all my questions answered.
The next thing to do is to get that Insurance and the surgery date !!!

Dr. Clark seems to be very caring and understands what an important decision this is. He took lots of time with his explanations. His office staff has been very helpful. So far I haven't seen anything to dislike. He has gone into post-op details quite abit and has an extensive aftercare program. The risks have been explained in detail.
