My first impression of Dr. Khalili is, he was very sweet and informative. I have only met Dr. Khalili once so far, for my first consultation. My friends have had nothing but nice things to say about him,m and they have all had great results. I would say Dr. Khalili's staff was excellant, they are very busy, but yet all so organized and very professional, KUDDOS to you all!

My first impression of Dr. Khalili was very good. I was impressed with how much time he spent with me on our initial meeting. His staff and the everyone who has helped me along the way have been outstanding. He made sure I researced both surgeries and gave me tons of info to help along the way. Including the heads up on the OH website. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with Dr. Khalili and his staff anyday !!

I had read in a few peoples profile about Dr. Khalili. So, I already had a idea about him. He was everything I had read. He was very interested in my story and we connected. He answered all my questions and was personable to my surprise. So far so good.

My first impression was that he was very knowledgable and was very ready to make me feel comfortable in any way he could. The office staff was VERY friendly and helpful. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Khalili of any of his staff. I believe anyone who visited his office & chose him as their surgeon would be happy. There are many ways to be involved in aftercare. They lead you every step of the way.

My first impression of him was that he is young. The picture of him that I had seen online made him look older than he actually is. He was very polite and caring. He listened to my concerns and addressed them all. He seemed empathic to my situation and my desire to change my life. I read he is one of the leading Bariatric Surgeons in the country and that is why I chose him and Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.rnrnHis office staff was nice and the nurse was great. Everyone was very friendly. The office was able to schedule my appointments very quickly. The Social worker, Amy, was very nice. She is very kind and was a pleasure to work with. rnrnThe office really emphasizes the change in lifestly that the LAP band creates and the need to really follow the aftercare instructions and attendance of support groups.

Wonderful bedside manner. Very personable, and responded to all of my questions. Gave me a great deal of positive reinforcement throughout my weight loss. Responded quickly when I had gall bladder attack, and needed it removed. My sugery was September 2005, and I must say the front office staff has been poor throughout my 2+ years there. Many don't speak very good English, they ignore the patients, and just don't have a good attitude. I live about an hour away from Cedars-Sinai, and don't participate in the support groups there, and there aren't any in my area. Aftercare program was not emphasized at all, and I have done well without it, but think it should be mandatory.

Dr. Khalili was warm and reassuring. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I am thrilled with the results and would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of having gastric bypass.

I saw Dr. Khalili for my initial consult for only about 2 minutes. Most of my time in my consult was spent talking to another surgeon, Dr. Doriaswamy. rnrnI recently saw him for my preop consult, and he is very warm and friendly. He answered the few questions I had and I didn't feel rushed, even though I know he's very busy.rnrnWhen he told me my surgery would take about 1 hr 30 mins., I knew he must be good! I usually see quotes of 2 - 2.5 hrs for lap. RNY GBP. I was told his complication rate is about half what it is nationally, and that Dr. Khalili has had no deaths. Dr. Khalili is considered to be one of the best bariatric surgeons in the country, so I knew I would be in good hands.rnrnI saw Dr. Khalili right before surgery. He squeezed my shoulder and made me feel completely at ease. rnrnI saw Dr. Khalili again after surgery before discharge, along with his partner, Dr. Kai Nishi. rnrnDr. Khalili does 3-4 surgeries per day, so you may not see him for long at any given time, but I totally love Dr. Khalili!
