Dr Simpson is fantastic. He is not like many doctors out there - he is genuinely interested in me and every other patient. He answers e-mails personally and quickly. He is there for any questions you might have. You do not need to go through his office staff - even though they too are all great and willing to help and answer questions. He is very attentive and even joins in the chat/message boards and attends support group meetings. I would highly recommend Dr. Simpson as your surgeon!

Dr. Simpson is without a doubt the best surgeon in the world! That was the most at ease I've ever felt in a hospital and everything went so smoothly. I'm looking forward to my future as one of his patients.

I love Dr. Simpson and his staff. They are all very confident in what they do. They are straight forward in their answers regarding risks. Their aftercare with me was awesome. I received 2 phone calls from the office, and one from the hospital!! Dr Simpson came by my bed twice prior to surgery to check on me. I met both surgery assistants and the anethesiologist prior also. I was very impressed!rnThey have this procedure down pat!rnI would recommend Dr Simpson to anyone!

Dr. Simpson is a very nice and humerous doctor, who definitely know what he is doing. My only suggestion would be to make sure you follow up with support on your own with Dr. Simpson. He definitely provides it, but the patient has to be proactive about finding out more about it & then using it.

I loved Dr. Simpson from the seminar to my consultation. He seems to genuinely care about his patients, which is so hard to find these days. All of his office staff are friendly and very helpful!

I liked him the first time I went to his office, his office staff is great, sometimes it is hard to get through but it is only because they are busy with other patients. Dr. Simpson only does lapband surgery. He has a great after care program, and before surgery you meet with his coordinator and Nutrionists. He heads support groups and the staff is always available to you. He was up front with all the risks of the surgery. I think he is an excellant surgeon. I think surgical competence is the most important, with the Lap Band surgery you don't spend much time in the hospital.

A I

Dr. Simpson is Amazing! His Staff, and all of his after care follow-up services are the best. I have tried however to find some peer-to-peer support online, but much of the ObesityHelp posts run contrary to the advice given by Simpson. Many of the further out, successful Post-Ops I have found at “quixoticwls.com” Mostly those who have left ObesityHelp once it became dominated by the MTV fans looking for some celebrity chat. More and more Banders there too.

So far I'm really happy with Dr. Simpson and his office staff. They are great, and answer any and all questions I have.

Leaning toward Dr. Simpson due to his experience and reputation. He is also in my insurance network and that's also a factor.
