Dr. Simon is the best!! He is easy going, yet very direct and straight forward with the information he gives you. I'm looking forward to updating this after my surgery!

From the min I met him I knew I had made the right choice Dr Simon had also done several of my co workers RNY's he is very frank and to the point ...my paperwork from the pysch got lost a few times but from first appt to surgery less than 6 weeks...after care has been good I am now 7 mo out and at goal and my labs are great ...I follow his rules..I would rate him a 10

Dr Simon and his staff are AWESOME!!!! Any questions or concerns that I had before and after surgery were addressed immediately.

Dr. Simon is very upfront and informative. Great bedside manner, I have even sent my best friend to him!!

Dr.Simon is easy to speak with and easy to understand. He's a positive person and very direct. He's answered every question thoroughly and didn't make me feel uncomfortable asking questions. His office staff is wonderful. Very nice and understanding. They either answered my call right away or returned the call the same day I left a message.

Dr Simon was AWESOME!rni had only one minor complication in post op and Dr Simon reassured me that although the condition was not normal it did occur from time to time and not to worry. it subsided as promised and no continued ill affects to date.

I had my group consult 8-1 & my one on one is scheduled for 8-28. I just need to be approved by insurance & then I will be good to go! :)

I liked Dr. Simon right away. He was friendly and very professional. I had surgery on July, 17, 2007 and I like him and respect him as a surgeon even more than I did before.rnThere wasn't anything that I didn't like about him except that his office staff seemed like they needed more help. He now seems to have staffed up now and I can see the difference. rnDr. Simon definitely discussed the risks of the surgery. Especially mine, because I had revision surgery after my 1994 Gastric Bypass staple line failed and I had gained 40 pounds back after staying at goal for over 12 years. The revision surgery was more complicated and he made sure I fully understood that.rnI go for my 1st post op appointment on Mon. 7-30.rnI rate DR. Steven Simon as top notch- one of the best! He did a great thing for me and I will always be grateful.rnI think his bedside and surgical competence are both perfect!

When I first went to a meeting I was impressed of how small the class was. This was not my first meeting I attend for pre ops information. I went to St. Lucks meeting in the past and it was at least 75 people in a meeting room. It was terrible. With Dr. Simons I felt it was personal and we are to ask questions. The first interview with Dr. Simons was great. I was shocked he remember where I worked and asked me how was the job doing. At that moment I knew he was the Dr. for me. As for the staff, they can really use follow-up skills. I guess thay might me under staff. If you have on your voice mail you will return a call in 24 hours, do it! I have to say the only feedback they need to work on. As for preparing and sending the information to the insurance company no issue at all. All in all I guess it's going great. My date is 6-6-2007....

Dr. Simon is a great surgeon. He hit me at the beginning as a man who knew what he was talking about. He was very friendly and as I saw him more he just confirmed my thoughts. He addressed all risks of surgery and didn't beat around the bush to try to make himself look better. His office staff is great and very nice. They are busy but they will work with you the best they can. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great. He assured me everything would be ok and made sure he always answered ALL of my questions- no matter how many I had. Then he would ask again if I had anymore questions. I would recommend Dr. Simon to anyone!
