My surgery Date is scheduled 01/23/01.For my consultation appointment and scheduling of surgery I was very impressed with how thoruogh he was and the time he spent explaining everything.He is very caring and honest.For the first time I felt like there really was hope.My surgery date is set. His staff have been wonderful and are very patient people.I would recommend anybody to go see him.He emphasized how important it was to follow the after care program.They have already given me some of my aftercare instructions( diet).It sounds very structured.He explains the risks and importance of following the diet very well.I rate him so far a 10 plus!!
Dr. Simon was the second surgeon that I had a consultation appt. with regarding gastric bypass surgery. I was very impressed with how thorough he was; he explained all the details and was very attentive to my needs and concerns. Dr. Simon took time out of his practice in order to become fully trained on doing LAP RNY surgery. He is very confident and I have so much faith in him!! Since I already had the approval from my insurance company to have the surgery, I left his office with a surgery date!!
Dr. Simon asks that you see a dietician that works very closely with him and she is trained in dealing with weight loss surgery patients. Dr. Simon will see me on a monthly basis for the next 2 years (longer if a problem arrises or I feel that I need to see him). I rate Dr. Simon a 10 on a scale of 1-10!
