My name is Mrs. Kim Washington and I had the Sleve done on June 20, 2012 by Dr. Seun Sowemimo. I am prove to announce that I have lost 47 lbs and is feeling terrific. The recovery from the surgery went very well with hardly no pain thanks to Dr. Sowemimo precribing wonderful drugs. I now feel more energetic to walk for longer distances, I am satisfied with eating healthy foods, and I am now only taking one blood pressure bill instead of two.

I had the best experience going thru Lap Band surgery. Dr Seun was always available for answers to my questions. He addressed all my concerns and fears.He has a wonderful easy going personality which made me feel very safe in knowing that he was doing my surgery.Dr. Seun made the surgery easy to endure. It has been a little over a year and I'm still happy with my decision in using Dr. Seun as my bariatric surgeon. I have recommended Dr. Seun to my friends who are looking for a really good bariatric surgeon. I wish there was something negative I could say but there is nothing other than me not losing the weight as fast as I would like to.

Dr. Seun is a wonderful Doctor who is genuinely concerned about the well being of his clients. He is warm and exibits true concern for you as an individual not just another patient. He is inspiring and has been a motivator in my success. I Highly recommend anyone considering Bariatric Surgery, spend some time talking with Dr. Seun and his staff.

bypass surgery is 3 months out and I feel amazingly differant and have a whole new lease on life. Renewed energy and a feeling of ability to reach my goals, its a great feeling to see the scale move in the opposite direction... thank you Dr. Sowemimo, I have now lost 90 pounds and counting.

DR.Seun is a great asset to my plan of lossing weight and doing it the right way.He laid everything out for me and helped me make a informed decision on my6 future weight loss.His staff is excellent and very helpful.I would say I would recommend him to anyone looking to undertake this task.

in the beginning i was a little scared about having the surgery but after meeting with the doctor and dietician i was more on board and this what i wanted to do ... the day of surgery on oct 8 i saw doctor before surgery and he assure me everything was gonna be ok.. SURGERY WAS A SUCCESS AND DOCTOR LIVED UP TO HIS WORD... i recommened this doctor to anyone who is thinking of getting surgery and leading a healthly life.......

had gastric bypass sx. overall exp. went well. post-op was very difficult,painful,gas pain is awful. never felt alone the nursing staff was comforting helpful and quick to help. my doctor(SOWEMIMO) made rounds and visited me everyday, spoke to all my crazy family members and did the best job i could have expected done. i highly recommend dr. seun. he is an excellant and caring doctor. thanxs i look fantastic. i feel great.

i had my doubts about this surgery from the begining. it took me almost a year to make up my mind about it. But attending the orientation and meeting the doctor and Julie eased things for me a little. i did not feel comfortable completely yet, until i met with the doctor in person at his office. we talked about my history, etc... and he explained things to me slowly, and simple English, that some doctors have a hard time doing that, if you know what i mean. Dr. Seun was kind, careful and respectful towards my feelings. It was embarrassing to me to have to tell anyone that i am having a weight loss surgery, but that's not how i felt around Dr. Seun or any of his staff. I NEVER felt judged or even looked at in ANY way, shape or form. going to his office is the only place i feel that i cannot be and will not be judged or starred at for being FAT. I am just another person, with a medical problem and that was it!!!! greatest experience of my life. Dr. Seun takes his time with the patients and their family, answering their questions so no one leaves with any question marks on their minds. a co worker of mine had that surgery done, three weeks after me, and she was out for almost three months with severe complications, But with Dr. Seun, i was out for three weeks only, and i was up walking around and going about my business, slowly of course, after one week. Thank you Dr. Seun for a second chance in life.

I had a lapband done about 5 years ago (it was a mess) When I went to see Dr. Sowemimo I had already lost all hope that anyone could help but luckly for me he took my case. Dr. S. took out the band and I got my sleeve done on 06/27/12 and already lost 40 lbs.
Dr. Sowemimo listens to you (which most Dr.'s DON'T) and explains the whole process. THE OFFICE STAFF IS WONDEFUL. I tust him so much that I TRAVEL almost a hour for my visits. If you are considering the sleeve got visit Dr. Sowemimo.

I searched and searched for a doctor with whom I was comfortable with. I went to Dr. Sowemimo's seminar and I knew right off the bat he was the one! He actually cares about his patients and is not doing what he does just for the money. Dr. Seun has given me a second chance at life. He never once judged me, just was there willing to help me. I have never looked forward to going to see a doctor before and I always look forward going now. His office staff is just simply wonderful! Joan and Jessica are amazing women who really listen and care. Julie, has taught me how to eat again and has helped me understand what is good and bad for me. They are a very down to earth group and made the most exciting yet scary part of my life much easier. I can't thank them enough for all they have done. Dr. Sowemimo, is a God sent, and I thank him everyday I look at that scale!
