dr jones was polite and straight to the point she was concerned and a contientious
dr. very proffesional and genuinely concerned about my wieght. my impression of her has not changed. her staff was helpful and answered all my questions no matter how many times i am sure they have heard the same ones over and over agin they were wonderful. the oversized chairs in the waiting room added a calmness to my frayed nerves because i knew i could sit in comfort without being wedged into a chair made for a smaller person. there was never any whispering with the staff amoungst themselves like you thought they might be talking about the larger patients. i was at ease the minute i stepped through their office door. dr jones has a program and after care available if you live in the area. there is a support group available and
if you have any questions they will try to get bk to you within the day if leaving a mesage for the office on voice mail.
dr jones has been performing these surgeries for over 15yrs and in that time to her credit she has had no pt deaths, either prior to surgery or after. if i had found out about this dr before all the others i went to i wouldnt of waited so long
for this surgery. when i asked if she could do my surgery laproscopically she never even blinked or hesitated. it was a yes, and i was shocked. all the others i went to stressed to me weight loss before surgery. she never said i had to loose any weight just that it would be helpful if i did.
i would rate dr jones as one of the top surgeons in her field. i dont know how her bedside manner is yet but i will rate that at a later time. after my surgery.
My first impression of Dr Jones was all good. I was very impressed on her presentation and professionalism. She listened and was very attentive. Her office staff was very helpful. It is a very busy office, so I realize that when someone is so busy that can only mean one thing....... They are the Best!!! In great demand. Just be paient, it is true the best is worth waiting for. I have not had my surgery, so I can not comment on that, but it is my intenion to make this work by following up with the aftercare. Risks of the surgery was explained and like any surgery there are always risks, but with the consultation with the Dr, I feel I am in good hands. That is hers and the Lords!!! Going in with a good attitude will only heighten the experiance with the physican, hospital, nursing staff and everyone involved. Actually... it all comes down to... it is what you make it!
My first impression of Dr. Jones was that she was very knowledgable and good at what she does. She exuded confidence but didn't proclaim to know everything. My impression did not change through the course of my surgery and after care. She appears very busy and was called to emergency surgery on my 1 week follow up appt. but her nurse took very good care of me and answered my questions. Dr. Jones is very sweet and personable. The only thing that was kind of odd was that I met her at the initial consultation and right before surgery and then one visit in the hospital...so not a long dr/patient relationship! However, I had no complications and was released 32 hours after my surgery! So I am not complaining!
She was very nice and gave out alot of infomation the first meeting.
It never did she is a very caring doctor and does not things go when she feels there may be a complication.I ended up in the hospital 5 times my firsr and had 25 endoscopes whuch she felt really bad about but it was not anything that she had done.
A little different sunce the very first time I went there they offic staff seem to be in a hurry alle.
I can not think of one negative thing.. Other than the office being so busy on Tuesdays.
She is great.
Alot it is explained to you thourghly and if you leave there not understanding something then you should of asked. Most people have been on the internet doing research so nobody should be in the dark.
Yes, the only thing was in my case I had such trouble eating that I pretty much had to eat whatever I could keep down.
Very thoughly
I would rate Dr. Jones a perfect ten she is great.
I think both surgical competence and bedside manner were handled about the same.VERY GOOD...
She is a wonderful, person.
No changes of my impression, just great admiration for the woman
Office staff is incrediable as is the whole hospital.
The only thing I like the least, is the amount of time we have to wait in her office.
Just that she is caring and personalbe.
A great deal of after care.....keeps her eye on us.
Yes....the bariatric unit is great on pre care and after care. No complaints
All risks were discussed prior to surgery
on a scale of 1-10.....she is a 10
Both....no complaints
My first impression of Doctor Jones was that she seemed so knowledgable and understanding. She really put my mind at ease at the consultation. She went through the whole procedure and said that she stopped counting once she had done her 1000th surgery. She addressed all the possible complications and that this is a tool. I left with such a new found hope. I'm so thankful for her everyday.
The office seemed a busy at times but from my consult to sugery only took 11 weeks. After surgery, the nurses were very timely in answering my calls and sometimes even answered the phone on my first call!
After care program is awesome. The nutritionist are great and I love the support groups. I would definately recommend attending those starting while you are still in the deciding phase. Very informative.
I truely feel that Dr. Jones is top notch in the field and I would recommend her in a heart beat to everyone. She's a A+++++++ in my book. She had great bedside manner and is very patient with any questions.
Because of conflicts with the doctor's schedule and my schedule I didn't meet Dr Jones until minutes before my surgery. I knew I wanted her to do my surgery because of the information gained from the internet and from the information gained from my brother(the doctor).
The meetings I had with her partners and the doctor's staff left me feeling comfortable enough to go through with this surgery. I had never gone thru any major surgery in 49 years so this was a big step for me.
Dr Jones caught me by surprise because I had nurses running in and out of my room before surgery. Dr Jones came in and introduced herself asked if I had any questions on anything and the next time I saw her was after surgery.
Dr Jones is very good doctor. Every time she checked on me in the hospital she was willing to spend the time needed to answer my questions. The follow-ups I've had, she has spent the time with me and my page of questions. I believe in Dr Jones. I've had little problem with my surgery and her "bedside manner" has been superb.
I would recommend ONLY Dr Jones for this type of surgery.
