Dr. Jones is extremely knowledgable. She is very friendly and short. : )

My impression only improved after my first visit.

Dr. Jones's office staff is extremely friendly and helpful! They always greet me with a smile and act like I'm the only patient they have (clearly they have lots of patients).

What I liked most about Dr. Jones before I even met her was her reputation. She has an excellent reputation in her field. She is very professional and gave me a lot of confidence!

Future patients should make sure to do their homework. Don't settle for less. If you have to pay out of network do it! This is a very serious surgery and you should only let the best work on you!

Dr. Jones and her staff are excellent about follow up. The Dietician's provide their email addresses if you have any questions and
encourage you to use it. Dr. Jones wants you to be successful so she really emphasizes good nutrition and frequent follow ups. The aftercare program is very unique...they really do care what happens to you after surgery! You didn't go through this to fail!

Dr. Jones was very truthful about the risks involved in surgery. She went over everything verbally and then provided all the risks in writing.

I would rate Dr. Jones a perfect 10!

Usually hospital's fail when it comes to bedside manner. The Nurses are usually so understaffed that they don't have the time to give their patients the attention they wish they could give. At St. Vincent's EVERYONE is attentive. The match a perfect 10 with Dr. Jones! I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say about my surgery, my surgeon, or the hospital staff!

When I met with Dr. Jones for the first time, I was very pleased. She seemed like a genuinly caring person. Like she cared about me as an individual and not just another patient. I have full confidence in her and can't wait to let her preform my surgery.

First impressions definately make a difference.

My first impression of Dr. Jones was of complete compassion. Upon my initial consultation, I was confident that I had made the right choice! Dr. Jones was extremely compassionate and understanding to all my questions and concerns. My husband was apprehensive and had many questions regarding the surgery. My husband is Mexican, and in order to make things much simpler....Dr. Jones had a consultation with him and explained everything in Spanish. (Dr. Jones is originally from Mexico).

I must say, she is petite and has small hands. This is a plus! My incision is so small. Just big enough to get her little hands in and do the job. Her husband is awesome as well. The office staff, I cannot say enough about them. They are always there with a listening ear and try to help as much as possible.

Of course, when I had my surgery back in July of 1999, it was not as well known surgery. The clientel has certainly increased over the years! Now days her office is a bit crowded and time is of the essence.

One of the most impressive things I like about Dr. Jones is she has an open ear and to date....if I have a question, concern, or just want to make an appointment to say, "hey look at me!" She is always there with compliments and a pretty smile. Any and all of you who are considering this surgical tool and looking for a surgeon...Dr. Rosie is the best!

I have recommended and commended her on SEVERAL OCCASIONS! She is completely honest and upfront with you. Dr. Jones does not beat around the bush. If she does not think that you are a good candidate for this surgery...she will tell you straight up.

She is very competent and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would rate her overall 10+. THANK YOU DR. JONES for giving me the TOOL to lose weight, boost my self confidence and esteem. YOU ARE WONDERFUL. HATS OFF!

My first impression of Dr Jones is that she is so knowledgable. She is a small person, yet she really understands what those of us with a weight problem are going through and thinking. She said she quit counting the number of surgeries she has preformed at 2,000, that gave me a lot of confidence in her abilities. The office staff was friendly and the waiting room was actually designed for larger people. It was so nice sitting in chairs that were actually made for people of larger size, they werent uncomfortable and I didnt cringe and worry that I wouldnt fit if I sat in them.

Dr Jones stressed the support groups and exercise as well as working with a dietician to help after the surgery. She discussed the risks of the surgery, but also discussed the risks of not having the surgery.

Overall I am very pleased with my experience today and I will update this as I feel I have more to offer.

My first impression was a very good one. Dr. Jones was very informative and helpful. I do think that she tends to minimize the risks involved but at least she did discuss them. I think they should come up with a better way of conducting initial appointments. We were there for nearly four hours and only about an hour of that was productive time with the doctor/staff. The rest was just waiting. Overall, I was impressed with the friendliness of the doctor and the staff and I hope to be seeing more of them in the future.

Not only is she a wonderful and skilled surgeon, but also friendly, caring, approachable, comforting, encouraging, and reassuring. She answers all your questions and takes her time with you. I had some complications with my drain that required going back 3 days post-op to her office. It was her surgery day, but she came up to the office to check on me and pull the drain herself. She then called me at home the next day, a holiday at that, to see how I was feeling! I was and continue to be very impressed with her patient skills and also her entire support staff. It takes a special kind of person to help the obese and she is definitely one of them. The waiting room is always full and the wait can be long, but well worth it.

Dr. Jones is the best doctor in the world! She made me feel as if I were the only one she had to deal with! Everytime I go to the office still she is soooo nice and I still feel like I matter to her. Even if I am one of many people she sees a day! She always has an answer for my questions and I like that! If some one asked me would you d it again! Only if Dr Jones did it!!!

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Jones...I have no doubts about my decision to schedule my surgery... Dr. Jones covered everything..I had already done a lot of research and understood the surgery and risks. She filled in gaps in my understanding of the history of the surgery's development.(Explained the improvements made!)

My 1st impression of her was wow she's short like me. Really I was impressed right away. Throughout our consultation I found myself thinking this woman really knows her stuff. Her office staff was very nice. I didn't not like anything about her. She was very easy to talk to and I didn't feel uncomfortable doing so. She stressed aftercare and support groups and what they could mean for your recovery. She does have a structured program to follow with aftercare. She put it all out on the line and said what she felt as far as risks go. On a scale from 1 - 10 I would rate her a 10 so far. I can only rate on surgical competence because I haven't had the procedure done yet. She appeared very confident and came off well.
