I met Dr. Bauman for my consultation, and was very impressed, I expected him to be reserved and very to the point. He was very nice, and kinda laid back but not too much. I have confidence in what he has instructed. He even made my husband feel more confortable about this surgery. Which put both of us at ease. The office staff are wonderful. I'm glad I made the decision to go with Dr. Bauman.

I really liked my surgen. He was very in formative the first time I met him and was very serious about the whole aspect of the surgery. His staff was very pleasent and although at times I got frustrated because I always didnt get to speak with a live person when I called the experience overall was good. He expects you to recieve aftercare for the rest of your life and they have a team or doctors and nutrtionist that work very close with Dr. Bauman and his patients.

His whole career in the 2000's has focused on WLS. I feel like he is a true expert in this field, not just competent. I did my research and looked at his statistics. Most doctor's don't post their complication rates for the world to access easily but he does. He has nothing to hide. He is very clear on his expectations of patients and why he expects it. The office staff is professional and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. The practice seems to be a well-oiled, caring machine. Researching and choosing your surgeon is the single most important decision to make and I feel confident about my choice of Dr. Bauman. We are fortunate in our area to have someone so excellent.

Dr. Bauman is a straight up to the point dude! He means what he says and says what he means! He is concerned about his patients and serious about the business he is in. It is not his intention to \"Quick Fix\" anyone and that is made clear from the start. He has a good sense of humor and a great bedside manner!

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Bauman and his staff! I had visited with another surgeon in the area and did not feel like we established any rapport. But Dr. Bauman expressed a genuine interest in me, why I wanted surgery, my history and how I came to be in his office. His attitude is reflected throughout the office and everyone I spoke with was warm, friendly and interested in addressing any needs or concerns my wife or I had.rnrnDr. Bauman might come off as being a little stern when you first meet him but give him a few minutes and he warms up. I realized about five minutes in that he was evaluating me very carefully to make sure I was informed, had read the materials provided and was ready to make a comittment. So he had some tough, searching questions for me. There's a reason he's got such a good track record and I think a big part of it is this evaluation of each patient's needs and readiness.rnrnI especially like the aftercare program. They follow up with you for a year, all of which is included in the surgery fee. The nutritionists gave me easy-to-follow guidelines and referred me to several places where I could shop for supplements and supplies. I travel a lot so I had many questions about eating \"on the road\" and they showed me how I could manage it easily.rnrnOne of the coolest things that Dr. Bauman's office did..was to refer me here!

Dr. Bauman is great! He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He explains everything in detail and his office staff is great. I recently had a surgery with DR. Pirrello and I was just as impressed with him. I chose Carolina Weight Loss Surgery because of the success rate and very low complication rate of the Dr's. I think I made an excellent choice! I wish they could be my family DR's.

He was awesome the first time I met him. I feel very comfortable in his care. I should be meeting with him again soon. I really like how he does the weight management program.

This has sure been a long process and I have not even had surgery. I have done alot of work checking out the surgeons in my area and I have chosen Dr. Bauman. I do not know how you could get a better surgeon. He is very, very detailed. He has had me read, watch video's etc so that I would know alot about the proceedure and life afterwards. He has done alot of these surgeries and you can tell he has put alot of thought and study into his practice. He has a great sense of humor and is quite down to earth. He is very easy and more than willing to answer any question or concern. He does get real serious about looseing weight before your surgery and I got the \"big lecture\" which is not his best side but I know he has my best interest at heart. I am excited about moving on and having my life back!! Also his office and office staff are wonderful, pleasant office and the staff are very calm and pleasant. I will have a very structured aftercare program and I know I will have the support I need.

This was the second time that I met with Dr. Bauman. He hasn't changed from the first time that I met him. He is straight forward and to the point. I truly believes that he cares for you as if you are his only patient. He stresses how important it is to be commited to losing way, following up with all of your appointments, making sure that you achive optimal results. rnHis office staff is very patient. I know that I have bugged them with all of my questions. Everytime they tell me what I want to know and they do it in a pleasant way. I guess they have been working there for so long and they are use to people calling all of the time so they understand. rnOverall I would rate Dr. Bauman at superior. He has made every effort to make you feel comfortable as soon as you enter thr front doors. I mean with the decor of the furniture you know that he has given careful thought into making you feel comfortable. He provides access to the computer so that you can research, fill out your forms, or utilize other tools that are available on line. rnI would recommend Dr. Bauman to anyone who is thinking about having WLS.
