DR.FLOYD WAS AWSOME FROM GET-GO! HE DID THE BEST SURGERY ON ME EVER. HE WAS VERY STRAIGHT UP WITH ME FROM DAY 1. HE TOLD ME I WASNT NORMAL IF I WASNT SCARED A LITLLE. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD TAKE GOOD CARE OF ME, AND HE DID THAT. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SAY THAT HE COULDNT DO IT WITHOUT HIS AMAZING STAFF.. KENNY,TOM,MELINA YOU GUYS NEED A BIG RAISE.. ILL PERSONALLY TELL DR.FLOYD THAT MYSELF. YOU GUYS MADE IT HAPPEN FOR ME! THANKS
Dr. Floyd is absolutely wonderful!! At my first consultation with him in Oct '04 he was very thorough and made sure I got all my questions and concerns addressed. By the time I left his office I knew that he would be the best choice for me.
Day of surgery Dr Floyd and Dr Pearce came to visit me pre-op and even though I was in great spirits and ready to go they still managed to make me feel even more at ease. He stopped by to see me several times while I was in the hospital and was always cheerful and positive, he could even tell that I was ready to get out of there and let me go home a day earlier than expected.
Overall, Dr. Floyd is amazing. He and his staff made sure I was fully informed and comfortable with my decision both before and after surgery. Aftercare has been great. I have had absolutely no problems so I pretty much go in & weigh, get a B12 shot and let Dr. Floyd poke around a little. I'm pretty much in & out in a few minutes.
My first impression of Dr Floyd was a scary one, mainly because I could not believe that this was happening. As time went on and I met the staff and spoke once more with Dr. Floyd, my fear gave way. Dr. Floyd is a very soft spoken man who cares very much about his patients. I was unable to attend his seminar, but attended a different one. Now I wish that I attended his. Dr. Floyd is a patience man and he explains everything very well. My overall opinion of Dr. Floyd is that he loves what he does and the people that he helps. What to know if I would do it again and the answer is yes, but only with Dr. Floyd. The only problem that I am having is finding someone to answer a couple of question about the way I am feeling and why.
I absolutely love Dr. Floyd and his staff. They seem to really care and Kenny is the best. He got the approval in near record time. It was all handled and I had very little to worry about. Aftercare was emphasized as was all of the pre-op tests. They want to make sure you understnad what you are doing and that everything is okay before they operate. I recieved excellent care at Edmond Medical Center even thought the bariatric wing was full and I was moved somewhere else after surgery. I do wish I would have gotten to stay in the Bariatric Center but I don't feel that I missed anything. I also wish that Dr. Floyd was a little warmer but most of the excellent surgeons (which I consider Dr. FLoyd) aren't really warm. He is definately nice and will answer your questions though.
