I was and still am VERY impressed with Dr. Williams and his staff. Aftercare is VERY EMPASIZED with the doctor and his staff. they have given me sooooooo much info on supplements, websites, etc. Also the do's and don'ts. They are very accessible and return calls promptly. They are also very informative with any questions you may have. The risks of surgery where explained in full and what precautions he would take to avoid and/or lower the risks. I have not experienced any thing negative AS OF YET. Athough I will keep you posted!!!!!

He is a very capable surgeon and has the best group of assistants I have ever come across. They will answer questions quickly and effiiciently.

My impression has been re-enforced over time.

Very busy man-saw his staff most of the time-lucky they are very capable.

You will get a fine surgeon, and great post operative follow-up

Hosp. of Univ Of PA has a group that meets 2nd sat of each month and he has a structured follow-up. They said I was part of the "family" now and would be so for the rest of my life-yes they follow up after the surgery.

Risks of surgery were addressed directly and clearly.

I would choose him again. He is a man of few words and I could have done with a little more personal touch. But I would choose him again.

I thought he was very interesting and knowledgeable.
His office staff is also very knowledgeable. His nurse was especially friendly.
I have only heard good things about Dr. Williams patients. I think he probably has an extremely high success rate.
Surgical competence is more important to me right now than bedside manner.

I am a teacher and DR. Williams and his staff were very accomodating in giving me a July date so I could heal by the time school started. It is a very comprehensive program with lots of before and after support.

Dr. Williams seemed very knowledgeable. His confidence in the procedure and his ability really showed in his demeanor. My Aunt came with me and she was unsure about all aspects of this surgery but Dr. Williams really put her at ease, at least with the procedure itself. The office staff were all really nice.

My only advice for future patients would be to be prepared to wait. My apointment lasted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with a few "lag" times between visits from the Nutrionist, the P.A. and Dr. Williams. My Aunt and I played "hangman" while we waited:-)

Dr. Williams was very upfront about the surgery risks, but also emphasized the steps that he takes to minimize the chances of the risks.

Overall, everything went exactly as I had expected from everything I had read and heard about Dr. Williams and his office staff.

I Finaly got to meet with Dr Noel Williams and his staff for my first time after a 8 month wait.

I was very happy with the office as a whole.
The nurse was great wish they could all be like that.
Dr Williams was very nice informative and great bed side manner.
I picked Dr. Williams from a site that i was on actualy got to see a local show on the surgery that he performed on PENN Vitals so that was cool.
Ialso talked to a man at my family dr that had the surgery although this was not his Dr. but he highly recommended him and this was also good to know.

The entire team is great i like the fact that he has a diet and phyc team that you have to see and i meet with them 6/16/04 so they have it covered from point a to z

I would rate him a 10 from what i know now.
I think both are great from what i know

I have to say that I was very impressed with how well run the office was from registration clear through seeing the man himself ... Dr. Williams. I did have a bit of a wait. My appt. was for 8:30am and didn't get in till close to 10, but I expected this and it helped that everone was so professional, warm and greeted me with true smiles (how rare is that in a doctors office!!) My first impression of Dr. Williams was ... wow, what a 'great face' and he spoke with what I believe is a hint of a brogue. He put me instantly at ease, explained the surgery, risks, etc. (diagram and all) and answered all my questions (and I had a ton!) which I'm sure are so repetitive he must want to just run screaming from the room!! < smile > I left my consult knowing more than I went in and quite confident that I had made the right choice in surgeons.

My first impression of Dr Williams, was that without speaking, he made me feel that he was real confident, and when he spoke, he was real comforting. The office staff was so helpful and friendly, and ready for anything I asked. All the risks of surgery were presented to me, and I still felt really good about the operation being done by Dr. Williams.

Dr. Noel Williams was very pleasant and informative. He explained the details of the surgery. When we discussed the various risks of the surgery he let me know what procedures he does to minimize them, which put me more at ease. Dr. Williams has a strong support system that includes a nutritionist, a psychologist, and monthly support group meetings that are run by the nutritionists. I rate Dr. Williams highly and would definitely comfortable reccomending him to others.
