I think more highly of him as the time passes by.
His staff was outstanding.
He also is outstanding.
Future patients should have the utmost confidence in Dr. Williams.
Staff aftercare is strong, but can use more improvement.
The University of Pennsylvania has stuctured aftercare.
Dr. Williams and his staff addressed the risks of surgery to my total and complete understanding.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate Dr. Williams 10+.
Surgical competence and bedside manner were both impeccable.

When I first met my doctor felt great cause he seemed like a great doctor. He told me that I would be able to have my surgery laproscoprically, which was very ecxiting to me because I didnt want a big scar. I really liked all the nurses, they were so kind and encouraging to me.

Dr.Williams was most informative about the pros and cons of the surgery. He was up front and and did not hide anything. The office staff and program director were very good at explaining everything and the dietary staff was also very good.

My impression of Dr. Williams has not changed since I first met him. I would advise any one in the Philadelphia area to go to see him and talk to the staff about the surgery. Dr. Williams has a great bedside manner, and is compassionate, surgically he is one of the best.

Dr.Williams appears to be very concerned
about his work. He made me feel at ease with my decision to have wls and with my choice for him to take care of this medical need. The staff at his office were pleasant and imformative. My only complaint would be the waiting time in his office. But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
Aftercare seems to be a big concern and is stressed as points of importance. His office has an aftercare program which is needed for complete success. Dr. Williams shared with me the risks of surgery so that I could make an imformed decision. Knowing there is always room for improvement, I give him a 9 out of 10. I feel more confident with surgical comeptence, however, both are needed for a positve relationship with your Dr.

I met with Dr. Williams on Sept. 8, 2004. He is a very serious man. However, he was willing to answer all my questions. He was polite and seemed genuinely concerned with my health. His office was rather crowed. Thus, his staff was quite busy. I visited with a nurse practitioner and nutritionist. Both willing to answer all my questions. Anticipate an hour or two wait to see the Dr. He will explain the surgery and associated risks. At this time I think his surgical competence is better than his bedside manner.

Dr. Williams was actually the second surgeon that I visited. The first one that I visited did not impress me with his experince or skills. I did, however, attend the nutrition class, which was also less than I expected. Finally, as I was going for testing, a nurse questioned as to why I sought testing. After I told her, she sugested that I seek a hospital other than her own and gave me Dr. Williams' number. Talk about divine intervention! Dr. Williams and his staff made an immediate impression on me. Kind, helpful and VERY professional. I had to be approved before they would see me, an excellent screening process. My time nor theirs would be wasted. The staff was more than competent, in my opinion, and never lacked for time for your questions or concerns. Aftercare was more than stressed-visiting nurses, physical therapy, plus nutrition counselling on an ongoing basis. We discussed the risks of surgery in depth as one of my bigger concerns was the welfare of my 6 yr old daughter if something should happen to me. Dr. Noel Williams has a great reputation for surgical competence and I can not help but be taken by a tall Scotsman assuring me that he will, indeed, take good care of me. As an added note, the surgical staff in the OR demonstrated an extremely high level of professionalism as well as a deep respect for the man who would soon arrive to do my surgery.

Very responsive and I'll have more to say soon.

Total Professional. But also personable.

Direct and competent.

Staff also competent.

Obviously in high demand, however very mindful to individual patient needs.

Also I really appreciated the thoroughness in taking a look at every issue to ensure a safe and successful outcome. Obviously a higher standard of clinical care.

This is important to me being a Clinical Researcher that makes a living auditing and assessing the quality of clinical care delivered by health care practitioners.

I am very hard nosed when it comes to health care delivery. Too many mistakes are made in health care today are costing lives. Hospitals are very dangerous places to be. Extreme care should not be discounted when considering a major life organ altering surgery like WLS!

I value my life and will not take any unnecessary risk with sub par care.

Noel Williams is a serious professonal that told me "I know what I'm doing"

And that is just what I need to hear.

Dr. Williams was wonderful.
Human but every inch a surgeon.

The program at HUP is very concerned with
aftercare. There are meetings and a Yahoo
support group.
