Muhammad Jawad Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

So far haven't met Dr Jawad, but have to admit that some of his staff, the Pre-determination Department in particular, is not the best customer service oriented. They take an eternity to give an answer back and you are just left hanging. If it wasn't for the money and time invested plus Dr Jawad's great credential, I would have walked away long time ago. Really hope they get to change this!!!!

I was kind of nervious meeting Dr. Jawad, as I was told he was not easy to talk to. Boy was that not true, upon meeting him he was VERY friendly and easy to talk to. He made me feel comfortable about the whole process. I was blessed to have had him. Although our visits were short, he was VERY knowledgable about the whole process, and explained all/any risks. Any time I called his office the staff was right there to give me or help me find the answers I needed. If they couldn't answer them I'd get a call back by the or a Dr. on staff. I would reccomend him to everyone. I was back at work in 2 weeks after the surgery and in the gym in 3 weeks!

I think Dr Jawad and staff were wonderful. I felt very confident and informed about everything that was happening and was going to happen. I've read comments about his bedside manner not being the best but I have to say I was very pleased. He was caring when I had problems and was cautious which was the best thing to do in my situation. Kelli at the hopital was wonderful. I had so much confidence in her and she was patient and so helpful! My stitches and staples look great and very happy with my choice as I heard so many rumors and comments about other surgeons in the area that weren't up to par.

I liked Dr. Jawad the very first time I heard him talk at his meeting. He was very frank about the surgery and very informative. He didn't sugar coat the risks or pain factors. He has an aftercare program and his staff is always there to answer any questions. He also insisted on many pre testing procedures.

so far, the staff is okay, i havent met the surgeon yet. i'm a little dissatisifed with the speed at which the office runs (very slow) and they dont return emails or calls in a timely manner

Great surgeon would use him again; no doubt in my mind. And I would recommend him to anyone wanting a bariatric surgery because of his great skill as a laparoscopic bariatric surgeon.
