Muhammad Jawad Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

I met Dr. Jawad yesterday at Pre-op. He is very knowledgeable about this surgery. He gave a history of gastric bypass and went over the risks of surgery. I feel much more confident about the procedure having met him. The office staff was awesome. I feel like I walked away yesterday with a wealth of knowledge!

Fabulous! A superb surgeon with a kind demeanor. He is tops in his field and really cares about his patients.

He did a great job. I met him for the first time the Thursday before my surgery. He went over everything in detail and made sure everyone understood what was going to happen. His staff is great as well. They have been able to help with any problem I have called about.

Dr Jawad is kind and caring. I believe he loves what he does. I met him a total of 3 times prior to surgery, only once in an exam room, other times in group settings. He has an efficient and competent staff. I think I would have liked a little more personal attention but understand that the volume of his surgeries afford group instruction more easily. Aftercare is ongoing and pre-op instruction was intense. I would reccomend Dr Jawad to anyone needing bariatric surgery. He works with a Center of Excellence and between Dr Jawad and the complete multidisciplinary staff all education before surgery was complete, including the possible risks or side effects. And if you forget anything you were told, they give you a dvd with the entire pre-op education for your viewing pleasure!

Big day May 14th. I have complete faith in Dr. J and his staff! Here we go.....rnrnFirst consultation scheduled for Dec. 18th!!! I have almost completed my 6 mo. PCP supervised diet (lost over 45 lbs.) I've only met Dr, Jawad once, briefly, but he comes with not just great credentials, but I've spoken to many of his former patients (and found out I know one personally!) and they have tremendous things to say... I \"shopped\" three different bariatric centers of excellence within 100 miles of my home, and this is the one I've chosen.

Dr. Jawad was a professional from the first time I met him at an educational seminar. I truly believe that he has a passion for bariatric surgery and for the success of his patients. He fully explained each procedure that he performs including the pros and cons of each. He discussed the risks as well. His bedside manner was good and the staff that he has assembled are very knowledgeable. I feel that I made a great decision to have Dr. Jawad perform my RNY surgery.

Dr J is very professional and very informative of what he is going to do. My attitude towards him never changed I liked him from the start. His staff is awesome specially Kevin and Kelli were great. I can't really say anything bad about any of his staff. Dr. J. is very to the point and an excellent surgeon. He has a class at the hospital and he requires follow up visits, and blood work. He wants to see you in his office every 6 months. He was very informative of the pros and cons of this surgery. I would say he is a 10 in every aspect. You might not see him much but he gets the job done that is why I am here.

Dr. Jawad was great. I feel that because of the volume of patients, he can't have the personal touch with every patient but, I really don't need to be his friend. I needed him to do his job - and he did it marvelously! The office staff, though friendly, could get better as far as communication but all in all were OK. The clinical staff were all wonderful and the support group sessions have proved to be informative and interesting.

I haven't had the pleasure to meet Dr Jawad. Hope to meet him soon.
