I have been overweight my entire life. I have not weighed under 200 pounds in 14 years. I am six months post op and have already lost 80 pounds. My clothes are down from a 22 plus size to a 15 in juniors. I feel great. Dr. Schmitt is wonderful!!!! He is very supportive. He does a great job.

I had dieted for at least thirty years and did not have any success. I had the gastric sleeve and the lack of hunger I feel is huge. The sleeve is a very helpful tool in modifying my eating habits. Dr. Schmitt is wonderful and was very detailed in explaining the procedure and the risks as well. I had the surgery on a thursday and was released to go home on Friday and I went back to work the next Monday. The support meetings have been very helpful in dealing with questions and issues since the procedure. I think it also helps motivate me in making the right choices for my lifestyle.

I had the surgery in March 2010. I lost 75-80 pounds so far and now I am off my blood pressure and diabetes medicines.Dr. Schmitt is a great doctor. He helped me decide what was the best weight loss procedure for me. He was there for me through the whole process and answered all of my questions and explained details so I could understand. He cared about me as a person and not just another one of his patients.

Before my band surgery I was so tired and felt worthless. Now I am more active than ever and it feels great. I actually love myself more. I promised myself that I would never be that big again. Dr. Schmitt said that I was doing great. I did gain 10 pounds since my previous appt. Dr. Schmitt is a very caring doctor as well as he is wonderful. He is very informative. I owe my new life to him.

I have had weight issues my entire life. I hit my highest weight after giving birth to my first child. I did well my first year after surgery but I have stopped following the guidelines due to stress, work etc.I am hoping to get back on track and meet my goal. Wish me luck! Dr. Schmitt is wonderful and very encouraging. He is a great doc and has a wonderful personality.

I am truly blessed to have a successful surgery and so glad that I had it done. I lost over 2-3 of my body weight. I suffered from high blood pressure and alot of joint pain. Now I can say Thank You, Jesus and Dr. Schmitt. Dr. Schmitt is a miracle worker. He is so nice and friendly and straight to the point.There is never any long waiting in his office. The support group are wonderful. It is so nice to be able to go to the support meetings because sometimes you are not losing like you think you should anf that support really helps to encourage you to never give up and really keep your head up.

My name is James Henley, I am 66 years old. I have been overweight for about 20 years and had lap band surgery. I have lost 46 pounds in the last 11 weeks. I am very happy abput my weight lost. My doctor is Dr. Lee Schmitt. I went to his Lap- Band Clinic two times to hear him speak about surgery and what it would to for me. I liked what Dr. Schmitt said and so I chose him and had the surgery. The support meetings are very helpful and important for aftercare.

I had surgery with Dr. Schmitt and I am very pleased with my results. I am retired and I stay at home and I am very involved in my church. My surgery went fine and I never had a single problem. I just wish that I would have lost a little more weight. In the end of it all I am very happy with my results and Dr. Schmitt is a wonderful surgeon and I would reccomend him to anyone.

I am so happy that I decided to have gastric bypass. I was not happy when I was very large. Dr. Schmitt is very nice and I trust him so much.
