I have been overweight all my life. I have tried weight watchers twice, low carb and they worked for a while then the weight would come back. Dr. Schmitt is very nice, informative, and encouraging. He explained that I could lose weight with the surgery, but I could also gain weight if I didn't eat right and exercise.

I'm a 52 year old female who at one time was headed for a health disaster. My surgeon was friendly and infomative but most of all honest.

I am a 44 year year old mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. I have yo-yo dieted most of my adult life. I've tried about every diet available but always gained weight back and plus some. I saw a TV commercial about the Lap-Band, researched it online, and found Dr. Schmitt. I feel like Dr. Schmitt did a great job with my surgery. I've had no complications and follow up has been great. I would recommend him to everyone interested in this procedure. Support Group meetings before and after surgey are great. The group makes you feel welcome and they are very informative.

I battled for years with my weight. It seemed the older I got the more weight I gained, but since having the adjustable gastric band my life has totally changed. I feel beteer, look better, and have much more energy. This was the best thing I've ever done for myself. It was one of the easiest surgeries I've ever had, no pain with a minimum amount of recovery time. I went back to work in about a week.

My weight gain started when I got married. I have been heavy for 12 yesar and friends advised the adjustable gastric band. Iresearched it, came to a seminar, and was convinced that it was right for me. Dr. Schmitt has been very nice and mannerly. He was recommended to me by a friend that I trust and he was the one for me.

You actually feel like they care about their patients. I would suggest that you attend a support group meeting they are very helpful.
