Larry Hobson Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

Peachtree Surgical and Bariatrics is GREAT. Dr. Duncan spoke at the seminar I went to last June. However, Dr. Hobson ended up doing my sugery. I was pleased with both doctors. Dr. Duncan is very personable and funny. Dr. Hobson was the BEST doctor. He listened to what I had to say, he comforted me and reassured me that everything was going to be fine. He not only listened but he paid attention. There were a few things I told him, and I thought he wouldnt remember, and he remembered every single word. He greeted my family and friends with the utmost courtesy and respect... a very personable man. He is smart, funny, chariasmatic, and a wonderful doctor. I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend PS&B and Dr. Hobson in a heartbeat.

Dr. Hobson seemed really cordial and polite. rnMy impression with him has only strengthened over the course of time. rnHis office staff was really nice and willing to help with any questions or concerns.rnFuture patients should know they should have no worries, because he is the best of the best and so is his staff.rnHe emphasizes after care and encourages you NOT to have the procedure if you are not serious about changing your health habits.rnHe offers a structured after care program and his staff are there when you have questions or concerns before and after the procedure.rnHe presented a mandatory complications class and they offered specific information regarding the risk factors.rnI would rate him a 10 out of a 10rnHe is remarkable!!! rnBoth are great!!!!

I thought Dr. Titus Duncan was going to do my surgery, but he's in another state studying plastic surgery--nips and tucks. So, I was told Dr. Larry Hobson was doing it and he was a very tall, dark-skinned handsome man. He seemed genuine and ambitious. He was able to answer all of my questions. Dr. Hobson made me feel comfortable and told me everything would be fine and my journey would be miraculous. He cares and loves what he does. He knows that obesity is an epidemic and he wants to help those that find it hard to lose weight on their own. His staff is very helpful and they're proud to be a Center of Excellence.

Met Dr. Duncan at Seminar in June 06.rnGreat physician , seems very interested and knowledgeable in his field. rnSeems very sincere and dedicated to treatment of obesity.rnFinally had consultation in December 06 and met with Dr. Hobson- scheduled 12/20/06 !!!rnDr. Hobson - great bedside manner and great personality. Spent significant amount of time with me in consult. Dr. Hobson spends time getting to know his patients and answers questions in detail. DR. HOBSON IS THE BEST. HE IS CARING AND CONCERNED AND THE FOLLOW-UP IS FANTASTIC.

All I have tosay about Dr. Hobson, is thank you. Thanks for giving me a new lease on life. I enjoyed having u as a surgeon. Dr. Hobson was a very humble and sweet man. He made sure he talked to me right before I went to sleep. I did not have any problems so far all is well.. I love him on first impression, but i did not like that he did not come to check on me afterwards. I felt that he could have come to check on me his self . I expected to see him. but overall, he was good.

Originally, I expected my surgeon to be Titus Duncan because of all my pre-op visits but on the day of my surgery I was advised that Dr. Hobson would do my surgery. My first impression of Dr. Hobson was that he was very soft spoken, but I liked the way he visited me before my surgery to answer any of my last minute questions/fears. Overall, I would say that this doctor was very experienced and my recovery took about a week before I was out shopping at the grocery stores again ( I had RNY). Great experience and I would recommend him if you don't care about alot of contact with your surgeon. I only saw him once (the day of surgery) but his staff was excellent and answered all my pre-op questions.

Although I did not meet Dr Hobson prior to surg, I am so Thankful to him for doing my procedure. I have since met him, on several ocassions, and he is a very personable, caring Doctor.

I had originally hoped to have Dr Titus Duncan do my surgery. When I made an appointment, Dr Hobson was my appointed surgeon. He is super sweet, listens intently and answers any and all questions you have. His office staff are also super wonderful! Everyone at Peachtree Surgical in Atlanta, totally understands what you are going through! Keep up the good work! I can't wait to have my surgery!!!!

Dr. Hobson was very friendly and knowlegdeable about the procedure. He answered all of my questions as well as all of my wife's questions--which were a lot! He spoke of the surgery risks and the after care for Post-Op. Peachtree Surgical & Bariatrics is a top notch operation and the staff is so friendly. Everyone made us feel at ease. On a scale of 1-10, I would give them a 20!

Actually, I didn't meet Dr. Hobson until my pre-op visit. My first impression of Dr. Hobson is that he has a genuine care for his patients. His staff has been very helpful and very friendly. He and his staff are very informative about all procedures. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hobson and Peachtree Bariatrics to hopeful patients.
