My first impression of Dr. Nazarian was great. I felt he was very professional and kind. I trusted him right away. He always makes me feel comfortable. His office staff is terrific as is the LivLite staff at the hospital. I would urge anyone who is considering WLS to see Dr. Nazarian. He is very thorough and honest. He cares about his patients overall health before and after. The information given is specific and very helpful. I believe and trust that Dr. Nazarian's surgical competence is equal to his bedside manner. I feel I have chosen the right surgeon.

Dr. Nazarian was very cautious, in my experience. He's very soft spoken. I believe he's an excellent surgeon, but I do wish he would have chosen a better hospital in a better neighborhood to perform the surgery. He didn't talk much during my first post-op visit, but he did answer my questions.

I have met with Dr. Nazarian twice now and find him very caring and very informational. At first, I found him very quiet, still do, but soooo very sweet and caring. His office staff at his Beverly Hills office was very nice as well as his staff at Liv-Lite thru Temple Community Hospital. He seems very personable and I really like that in a doctor. We have spoke about my surgery several times and still not sure if I am having *open* or *lap*. I really trust him so far and I'm sure I my feelings about him will not change after my surgery. He seems to be one of the top surgeons and I feel very confident with him.

I had my first initial visit with Dr.Nazarian in January of this year. When I first met him I thought that he was straight to the point but did not talk a lot. My next visit was a month later. I think this Dr is heavan sent. He is very genuine and I felt that everything he said was from the heart and that he truly cared about his patients. This time I did get to see his smile and soft spirt that was very comforting to me. However I was still very nervous. The next time I saw him was the day I checked into the hospital he made me feel safe and sure I was doing the right thing. His staff is great!!!! Rick is someone who will always return a call answer your questions with honesty but with conviction. Dana was a blessing to me when I was scared she always stayed on the phone with me untill I felt better. Pam and Dana and Rick were all there the day I was admitted and went as far as to let me know I could call them if I needed them, even though they would be off for the weekend. When I was about to go to the op.room I saw Dr.Nazarians face and his smile and I knew God was telling me he had this under control and that this is the man he chose to do such a serious life changing opperation. Dr.Nazarian was at the hospital everyday to see me, that would be the highlight of the day to me. My open rny was on Feb 21 2004. This is August now and I have lost 100 lbs. Temple Community hospital is challenged by a language barrior with thier staff, but they were gracius enough to give me a room with two extra beds for my mom and dad to stay with me wich meant everything to me at the point. They even fed them three times a day. I was very lucky!! A few weeks ago I passed a kidney stone and Dr.Nazarian recieved a message from me that I was in pain, called right back and continued calling along with Rick to make sure I was O.K. I have blessed. God has been good to me and I know that he sent theese people to me. I can't begin nor do I know were to start to say thank you. You have helped me change my life and you will be rewarded you have no idea the impact you have made on me and others. Thank you for all you have done. love,ZagiaPerez

I've heard nothing but WONDERFUL things about him on this Web site and in person.

I had revision surgery on 8/11/03, which went very well.

On 8/28/04, I also had plastic surgery done. Dr. Nazarian did my tummy tuck, arm lift and thigh lift in a 12-hr procedure. As usual, he was wonderful.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Nazarian to anyone. I travel 4-5 hrs from Vegas to see only him.

I contacted the office just a few short weeks ago, out of frustration with another clinic that I had been working with, and their inability to return my phone calls, or answer any of my questions.

Dr. Nazarian's office sent out a complete packet of information to me, which I promptly returned. I got all the information I needed form their office, and I had an approval letter mailed to my home not more then two weeks later.

I was not sure what I had to do next, and I was too busy at work for the next few days to get a hold of the office, and before I could get around to calling them, they got a hold of me to set up a surgery date, and schedule all the pre-op testing needed.

I am VERY pleased with the office so far, and I am looking forward to taking the next step towards a healthier, happier me.

He's very quiet and reserved, but caring and experienced. His office staff at the LivLite center are great. However, his receptionist at his Beverly Hills practice is very short and rude. You don't see him that much, his assistant comes in to check on you as well. She's not very comforting. She's quick and just isn't very 'warm'. However, she seems to be a good doctor. Aftercare wasn't emphasized that much; I got some questions answered during consultations and only hospital handouts after that. Although, you do get counseling from a deitician. I think surgical competence and bedside manner are equally important. You want to feel comforted by a great doctor. Dr. Nazarian is a great doctor, and I would reccommend him to others. Temple hospital is where he performs the surgery. The hospital isn't great, but its do-able. The nurses can barely understand or speak English. The language barrier is a problem when you're drugged up and can't even communicate well yourself. However, I would rather focus on the surgeon than the hospital staff.

5/8/04 I had my first consultation with Dr Nazarian two days ago. My appointment was at 4:30pm, and I finally saw him at 7pm. He was in surgery and had trouble getting to the office. In the meantime, I had my pictures taken, watched "the" video (all doctors have some video for you to see), had a question and answer period with his associate and some other first timers. He was very apologetic. We talked about my background and he did a brief exam of my tummy. He wants me to lose 30lbs before surgery and quit smoking. He made me shake hands on it. (I liked that). I hae another appointment in a month.

A nice soft spoken Doctor with a faint accent; however, he was clear and precise in answering my questions.
