I first met Dr. Nazarian in 2007, upon my first encounter with him, I knew then that he was a very smart and personable physician and very educated In his field of Bariatric surgery!
He explained ever aspect of the surgery and it's benefits for my husband who had a hernia larger then a baseball. What we were seeking In This doctor were answers, suggestions and encouragement, he succeeded and went beyond our expectations!
We immediately became friends with Dr. Nazarrian and he was so absolutely considerate that he gave us his personal cell number and he called several times to check on how my husband was doing!
Throughout the years he and his staff have become very close to us and just as they treat us like family we treat them as family!
Now it is my turn to go and have surgery and I am still so very impressed with his staff, Kathy and I have become very close friends and she understands when a patient comes in and is anxious about the surgery, I know because she has helped me through this process as well!
I can tell you this, Dr Nazarrian is kind, compassionate and has your best interest at heart. He listens to your concerns and answers your questions in great detail!
So if your looking for a professional Dr with superb bedside manners and utmost concern for you, then he is the doctor you want!

Dr Nazarian seems to be kind. My only complaint would be he give almost no pre care or post care. I was given 15 run off sheets of paper suggesting how to eat after having the sleeve surgery. Never met with a counsilor or nutritionist. I felt I knew enough about the surgery that I was OK with it. In reality, I knew almost nothing. I've been left on my own to figure it out. My advise would be to go to a clinic that will give you support. I will say that my surgery went smoothly and I've had no complications.

My 1st impression was not very good he was falling asleep as he was talking to me about the procedure and that scared me. My impression change because I said \"ok it was late in the day and maybe he had been in surgery all day\" I set up another appointment just to see how he would be the 2nd time and he was wide awake very nice and informative. The office staff was great and very friendly they made me very comfortable. He does not seem to be pushing aftercare to much I seen him a week after surgery and he wants to see me back in a month, so I feel kinda on my own. he does allow me to call his cell though if I have questions. He does not have a structured aftercare program. He told me all the risks of surgery I was full aware of what I was getting myself into. Overall I would say he was good but I have asthma and was sent home within a couple of hours after surgery my breathing and chest pain got very bad and I had to go to the emergency I would of like to at least be kept for 12hrs since I had a health issue but If you don's have asthma you should have no problems, his surgical competence is great.

I liked Dr. Nazarian. He answered all my questions. His office staff helped me get approved in less than two weeks and surgery was schedualed about four weeks later. No complications with the surgery. I moved from California to Mississippi shortly after my surgery and so all my follow up care was done with my new primary care doc.

My first impression was he was a very caring doctor. Never changed only was more impressed by the time i left i will sing his praises for the rest of my life.rnFuture patients need to know he is an EXCELLENT AND CARING DOCTOR and you will be in qualified hands, He enforces that you stick to after care. I traveled from Jacksonville, FL to have my surgery it was worth it all as far as i am concerned. He totally explained the surgery risk completely even answered questions i did not ask. I will not rate him on a scale he is Wonderful, came by to see me everyday, wonderful hospital staff I only had to buzz nurse once (thats service).rnBEDSIDE AND SURGICAL COMPETANCE ARE EXCELLENT

I met Dr. Nazarian on 07/19/08, he is a great doctor, and I am looking forward to have my sugery with him. He is very understanding and patient. His surgery coordinator, Rick Mark is excellent. He helps you along the way, even with the approval of the insurance. I'm currently undergoing paperwork and will be requesting approval from United Health Care soon. Overall these are great people to work with and are very interested in making their patients feel they are not alone on this journey.

Dr Nazarian was very comforting he was willing to listen and answer any questions I had. Rick Mark is very helpful and seems to know his job well.

Dr. Nazarian was the best! I really can't put in words what this man means to me. He helped me begin my journey and I can honestly say that he would be so proud of me after 5 years. I say this because he takes care of you as a father would. Thank you Dr. Nazarian!!!
