Dr. Wallace is a straight shooter who really cares about his patients and their healthy. I will forever be grateful to him for the support he has given me and the sleeve surgery he performed. Once you get beyond the gruff exterior and see that he is there to help you ONLY if you are willing to help yourself he is the greatest guy in the bariatric world.
His staff is caring and well trained and educated. His handbook or bible as we call it is informative and well written. His aftercare program is supportive and well timed.
I would not go to him if you are not motivated to take care of yourself and committed to a lifetime of changes. He expects compliance on his program and for those of us that are disciples we willingly give it.
He saved my life and I will be grateful for his program. Thank you from my heart, my soul and my new stomach.

Dr. Wallace is a wonderful surgeon. I had heard many great things about Dr. Wallace and as time passes by he has proven to be the best I could have chosen. He is a very honest man, he tells it like it is. If you want a surgeon that is highly educated, highly experienced and knows what is the best for you check out Dr. Wallace. I speak on my behalf. I am making no statements about what other people may have experienced.

The whole experience from the very beginning of paperwork to pre-op exams to post-op exams was wonderful. EVERYONE is so nice. I am lucky that I had someone in my life that directed me to Dr. Wallace's Program. I clearly understand why they are a "Center of Excellence".

Dr. Wallace is amazing. He's hard core, but it's because he knows what's best and only wants you to succeed.

Dr. Wallace's staff was very helpful and prompt in helping with the beginning stages of this procedure. Dr. Wallace has a specific program and he makes it clear that he expects you to adhere to it. There is no doubt on my part that if I do what he directs me to, I will have success. The support team that he has in place seem very knowledgable. Throughout his office you get the feeling that everyone is pulling for you to succeed.

Kind of an odd man, but with a good reputation and one who has done many surgeries, which is what was important to me. The office staff is efficient, maybe a little too much so--I sometimes have felt like a drive-through patient. They all clearly know what they are talking about, and I try to follow their advice closely.

Dr. Wallace is a man that puts his whole heart in the work he does. Very by the book, and that can be seen in how the whole bariatric team operates - which is the reason why they're one of the best in the region. My experience was well and I have absolutely no complaints with any individual involved in the process of my rebirth. I recommend Dr. Wallace to any indiviual considering WLS.

My first impression was at the informational seminar. He exuded confidence, competence, and knowledge, and for some reason as the presentation went along, I just knew that he was the surgeon for me and Froedtert was the hospital.rnImpression didn't change. Dr. Wallace has a dry sense of humor, which I like. He demands his patients go by the rules if they are to succeed, and pulls no punches. I remember my first post-op visit we were asked if we had eaten any snacks (off of our required diet). I had eaten both sugar free popsicles and a few soy chips, both for the crunch. Well he was not shy about telling me that I shouldn't be eating that, and I felt really bad afterwards...harsh, maybe, but I know deep down he wants his patients to have the most success they can possibly obtain. rnMy only \"wish\" about the program is that Dr. Wallace would want to see his patients again at their 1 year (and further out) anniversary---after all, I feel I've been a success and you would think he'd want to see \"his work\" and how dramatically he changed his patient's lives.
