Wen Hui Tan Bariatric Surgeon MD

Dr. Wen Hui Tan is a board-certified surgeon with the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. She grew up in Henderson, NV, and received her Bachelor Degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and received her Medical Degree at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. Dr. Tan completed her General Surgery training at Washington University in St. Louis / Barnes Jewish Hospital. She then completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her clinical expertise includes the surgical treatment of hernias, reflux disease and obesity.

As part of her practice, Dr. Tan believes in shared decision-making, focusing on her patients, not just symptoms, and coming up with plans of care that make sense for them, together as a team.
