Dr Foote is wonderful surgeon. My experience with him and his staff was wonderful. The program the follow is structured and supportive and I felt I went into the surgery well informed and ready for the change that was about to happen in my life. Dr Foote has a great bedside manner and has a sharp sense of humor and always has a smile on his face or words of encouragement. He answered many of the questions I had before I even had the chance to ask them. The physician assistants that work with that particular group of surgeons is also very knowledgeable and I feel comfortable continuing my after care with them in the future.
My first seminar at MMPC was with Dr. Foote. I was impressed by his enthusiasm and his confidence. I chose him (out of 3/4 doctors) because I just liked him the most. rnThe staff is pretty great. It's a very busy office and like all offices, you get some amazing staff and some staff that is not as enthusiastic about their job. The nutritionists are all very well informed and the exercise therapist is absolutely wonderful. rnrnDr. Foote, I think, did an amazing job. I haven't thrown up onces or had problems/complications with anything. I didn't see him much after the surgery as it's a pretty large office and he has many patients. I wish he was more personable, but I think to find a very skilled surgeon is enough. Can't have everything.rnrnMMPC is a superior place. They make sure you are very well educated on the surgeries. They prepare you well and have food products for the 2 weeks prior and post surgery. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.rnrnOne thing is that I was slated to have the Duodenal Switch but Dr. Foote informed me that if it wasn't completely possible, he'd do the sleeve. Afterward he assured me that with determination he was confident that I'd lose the weight I wanted without going to the second stage of the DS. Going great thus far, but only time will tell.
6/14/07:rnScheduled for initial WLS seminar.rnrnI was very impressed with Dr. Foote's enthusiasm, openness, knowledge, attitude and his sense of humor. His entire approach and apearance is top knotch to suit all my needs. His staff is just as supportive. I'm very much looking forward to my next appointment.rnrn7/18/07:rnScheduled for physic evaluation. (Gonna see if I'm \"certifiable\" woo-hoo! ...At least I'll have papers!!) LOL!rnrn7/26/07:rnScheduled for physical & Surgeon consultation.rn
I cannot say enough about Dr. Foote. He was wonderful. Very professional and very caring. Great bedside manners and I could just tell that he really cares about his patients! He wants them to succeed. Just like his staff and the other surgeons he works with. They are all wonderful there! I owe everything to their office! Thank you many times over MMPC!
