Dr. Foote is an amazing doctor. I think that the first time that you meet him he is a little shy. After time though, he warms up and is a wonderfully caring physician.rnrnI cannot say anything negative about him or his staff. Grand Health Partners and Dr. Foote are with you every step of the way-including aftercare in all aspects. You cannot fail without trying to fail here.rnrnBoth Dr. Foote's surgical and bedside manner are great. I very highly recommend him and give him a 9.9!
When I met Dr. Foote my first thought was how young he looked, as we talked I was amazed at how intelligent, caring and thorough he was. rnI was very impressed with how knowledgeable the staff was and eager to answer all and any questions, no mater how dumb or insignificant they might seem. Dr. Foote and his team advised me of the risks involved and were very upfront about the dangers involved.rn
Dr. Foote is great. I was going to use a different surgeon in the practice, but after attending the orientation he gave, I felt we had similar personalities and senses of humor. I felt at ease with him right away. He shoots straight and truly takes the time to analyze each individual patient's needs and goals.
Sara DeYoung, Dr. Foote's insurance liasion and scheduler, is incredible. She's on the ball, very accessible...friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to get everything squared away for you. Insurance, appointments, consultations, etc...she works to do what is best for you, and makes it happen.

So far I am really happy with my surgeon and his office. I have appointments scheduled for 2 wk post op, 6 wks post op, 3 mo, 6 mo & 1 yr. They have their own dietian, exercise guru, behavorist (sp) and more. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The support groups are well structured and moderated.rnrnI have no complaints so far with him or his staff.
I was introduced to Dr. Foote during the orientation process and was very impressed with his knowledge and the sense of competence I got from him. He works with Grand Health Partners his staff is wonderful to work with when ever you asked a question they always responded in a manner that you were the first person to ever ask the question. They have a whole program set up for aftercare that is a for 1 year following your surgery so that I understand what will happening with my body and what foods I will to be eating at the different stages of post of. I found Dr. Foote to be very straight forward and discussed all the risks of this type of surgery RNY. He even discuss other options and let me make the final decision.....rnI was so well informed and educated that on the day of my surgery I was not ever nervous.rnrnI believe surgical competence is what matter most to me, however, Dr. Foote has a very good bed side manner.
I thought he was great. he talked to both me and my husband and explained all the procedures that were available to me. On the day of surgery he was very comforting and when I couldn't have the band due to complications and had the sleeve instead he explained all to my family very well. When he told me about it later he made it very clear and it was fine. I found every person at the office that I have dealt with so far to be very helpful and courteous. Aftercare and pre-op seem to be very important. they gave me the impression that if I wouldn't cooperate then they would not perform my surgery. I was impressed by that. I would recommend them for anyone and have already to a couple of people who have expressed an interest. I think they have given what has turned out to be an accurate description of life after surgery so far. Since it is a long drive for us they have been very accomodating in their scheduling as well to save us extra trips.
Dr Foote is great! He's very attentive-never makes me feel rushed or uncomfortable when I'm talking to him. Grand Health Partners has a great pre-op & post-op program, altho it would be helpful to have dieticians familiar w/the \"diet\" necessaties of a ds'er. Dr Foote & the physician asst's certainly understand the needs(or non-needs) of the ds'er, but the nut's do not! Thank goodness for OH!
My first impression of Dr. Foote was good. He was very informative and answered all my questions. I only got to meet him 1 time before surgery which stinks, but he was very nice. I don't care for his staff, they are rude, don't return calls and don't followup and really slow. So you have to be one them right away. Even the followup care - has been excellenet. I am glad I picked up, because he uses dissolving staples and another technique that is new.
Dr. Foote is an amazing surgeon who obviously has a great passion for his work! He was kind and informative and very patient with me at my pre op appointment and at the hospital. Make sure you understand that you only see him in a one on one, one time before surgery so have your list ready! The office staff is great. Aftercare is a must. They have endless support groups you may attend! Dr. Foote has a great bedside manner and I had complete confidence in him as a surgeon.
