He seemed to be qiute but at the same time he was very informative. The second time I met with Dr. B he was awesome he answered all the question I had and made me feel very comfortable. His office staff is great.They seem to really care about the patients.I know there have been other Dr's office I have gone to and they have a hard time showing that they care.You do not get this from Dr. B's staff. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. B or his staff. They have all treated me with respect.Aftercare has been mentioned more than once and was very helpful info.There are support group meetings to attend.The risk of surgery were explained very well. I give Dr.B and his staff 10 plus.I have not had my surgery yet but Dr. B knows his stuff. I have not recevied any bedside care but have heard it is fantastic.

He is wonderful.

I FEEL THAT DR. BABINEAU IS AN EXCELENT SURGEON AND PERSON; VERY APPROCHABLE WITH OPEN DISCUSSION OF QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS, I AM A NURSE SO WHEN I BROUGHT MY TWO 4 INCH BINDERS OF INFORMATION AND QUESTIONS TO MY OFFICE VISIT, HE TOOK IT ALL IN STRIDE, ASKED HIS QUESTIONS FIRST THE OPENED THE FLOOR UP TO MY LIST, ANSWERED THEM ALL ONE BY ONE AND IN TOTAL TO MY SATISFACTION. LIKED HEM FROM THE FIRST TIME I VISITE HIS WEB PAGE(THE MOST INFORMATIVE WEB PAGE THAT I LOCATED ON NET.. THAT IS HOW I SELECTED HEM AS MY DOCTOR).. AND INPERSON, VERY SOFT SPOKEN AND COMPASIONATE, NO CONDENSENDING ATTITUDE.. STILL JUST AS IMPRESSED WITH HIS CARE; OFFICE STAFF HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, FREDA SHOULDERS ALOT OF RESPONSIBILITY; VERY THANKFUL THAT DR BABINEAU RESPONDED POSITIVELY TO MY REQUEST FOR A TAKE HOME RX FOR LIQUID VICODIN, DEFINATELY NEEDED IT; HIGHLY RECOMENDED FOR THIS TYPE OF SURGERY, I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TYPE OF SURGERY BEFORE BUT HAVE TAKEN CARE OF ALOT OF POST OP CLIENTS MY SELF, FEEL THAT HIS SURGICAL SKILL AND IMMEDIATE POST OP CARE WERE EXCELENT FROM BOTH PATIENT AND PROFESIONAL PERSPECTIVE;.. AFTERCARE FOR ME IS MOSTLY SELF MONITORED, I LIVE THREE HOURS AWAY FROM TYLER.. HAS OFFICE STAFF (FREDA) MONITORED SUPPORT MEETINGS MOUNTHLY, HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND ONE YET AS POST OP;.. STAFF ALWAYS WILLING TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AS THEY ARISE.. DR BABINEAU VERY THEROUGH ABOUT RISK OF SURGERY, POP TEST GIVEN TO SEE WHERE YOU ARE WITH UNDERSTANDING AND FUTHER TEACHING NEEDS.. Dr. Babineau was very informative, and seemed to be very educated in the field of bariatric surgery. I am very comfortable with him doing the surgery. I have had several friends use him for the surgery and all were very pleased! His staff is wonderful, they have put up with me for the last couple of months, always having to change things for my job and such.

Dr Babineau was very pleasant during my initial consultation. Seemed a little quiet, but obviously very competent. His staff is very nice & easy to talk to. A close friend of mine had surgery by Dr Babineau & had nothing but good things to say about him & his staff.

During my pre-surgery visit Dr Babineau was so nice. He answered my questions and did not make me feel rushed at all. I feel very comfortable with him & confident that he will do an excellent surgery for me.

Dr Badineau is truly texan. He has an overall great personality. I have had 2 friends that have used him 4 months ago and they state that his bedside matter is awesome.

My first impression was he is truly texan, due that he wears cowboy boots with his scrubs.
The office people are wonderful in his office they make you feel like you are the only one that matters.

My first thought of my surgeon was that he is very young looking. After his very interesting and insightful group talk with about 12 potential patients my thoughts of how young he looks changed to how much he knows about the work that he does and the care for his patients success. The staff at the office is awsome to say the least. They had a report to my insurance company the same day as my 1ST appointment with them.

They have 3 different support groups you can go to in 3 different cities. They do encourage going to as many support meetings as you can.

I have seen a couple of other surgeons for the exact procedure and I was very impressed with Dr. Babineau and his office staff and can't wait to get to the operating table and to start living a better and more normal happy life.

Dr. Babineau is a very secial man. He has a very DRY sense of humor....but it's DEFINITELY in there. The day that I went to his office for my initial consultation, he had a bit of a family emergency going on...and yet, he was still attentive and seemed just as concerned with me as he was with his child's freshly broken arm that he was awaiting word about. On the day of my surgery, true to my nature, I was a bit chatty and silly, and although I know that he is NOT that way with his patients, he put up with my inquiries regarding the amount of sleep he's had the night before, whether or not he was wearing his "good" cowboy boots for my operation, and if the staple gun was in good shape. He assured me that it was a "Craftsman" and gauranteed to last a lifetime.... a joke which my carpenter Father appreciated! After surgery, Dr. Babineau checked in with me regularly, again, making jokes in his OWN way, and was not the least bit put out when my Mother had the nurse contact him regarding my being excessively anxious. He simply had me moved to a private room and wrote an order for additional anti-anxiety medication, if needed.I don't believe I have EVER received such personalized care from ANY physician, be it pre-op, post-op, during surgery or afterwards, and I would HIGHLY reccomend Dr. Babineau to ANYONE considering this surgery.

My fist impression of dr. b was that he was very straight forward, very informative, honest, and mild mannered. His staff has been wonderful every time I have called they have all been able to give me the information that I needed. On a scale from 1-10 I rate him an 8.
