Very friendly and more than willing to answer questions and/or supply information. I felt very comfortable with the doctor and his office staff.
He could not stress enough the possible risks of the surgery. After speaking with him there should be no doubt left in your mind.
Dr. Slotman has been great from the get-go. He explained the procedure thoroughly at both of my pre-op appointments. He likes to joke around a bit which put me at ease. In the hospital, he was attentive and encouraging. Sometimes there can be a wait to be seen at appointments, but no longer than I've experienced at other doctor's offices. The office staff is nice and efficent. The staff at Cooper were extremely helpful and kind to me. There is a small support group of really nice people who I believe meet monthly. I honestly have nothing negative to say about Dr. Slotman or the care I've received.
I had my consultation on May 3,2001. I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Slotman he answered 90% of my questions prior to my asking. He was very informative and direct about the surgery sharing the pros and cons. He was very warm and made me feel like I was not just another house or car payment. I was further swayed to him when preparing to leave his office, I found out that he has a personal relationship with the LORD. You GO GOD! Dr slotman makes you go home and think about the surgery before he will allow you to say yes. So I called hs secretary Karen back the next day. Dr Slotman also gave me scripts foran Upper GI and Gallbladder Ultrasound. I had them done within 2weeks; however one showed I may have possible ulcers. I pray that it's not so.
I contacted 2 other surgeons prior to callig Dr Slotman's office. The first one was
Dr Greenbaum's office and they said I would have to call back in May to make an my appointment, that they were not taking any appointments at this time and the other was Dr Colberg in philly was booked til 2002!

What a Great person Dr. Slotman is he is very warm and curtious and a kind Dr.I ever met. He puts you at ease immediatly and listens to your concerns and answers all your questions,I look forward to my surgery knowing how wonderful he was with someone else I met.
My first impression of Dr. Slotman was he was a straight forward friendly person. I have all the confidence in him. His staff has been friendly and VERY helpful...Thank you Shirley!
Dr. Slotman is an excellent surgeon. Additionally he is friendly and personable--he has the right kind of personality and expertise for this type of surgery.
He looks like a cartoon character and I say that in a nice way.
He was very serious in telling me about the surgery and added just the right amount of humor to make you feel at ease.
His office staff is wonderful; ready to do anything it takes to get your preop appointments.
Anything least about him? Nothing that I can see at this time.
