WELL I HAD MY SURGERY IT WAS LITTLE HARD THE FIRST WEEK ..BUT DR SLOTMAN ITS A GREAT WONDERFUL DOCTOR ..HE ITS RIGHT TO THE POINT KIND OF GUY ..HE TOLD ME THAT I AM GOING TO FOLLOW THIS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE AND ITS UP TO ME TO KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF THANK YOU FOR GIVE ME THIS TOOL DR SLOTMAN! YOUR THE BEST !! I GIVE DR SLOTMAN A 10..
Dr. Slotman was very nice during the consultation. He put me right at ease and answered any questions i might have had. I had my mom with me and she was nervous for me, and he even joked that she had to be my sister and not my mom because of how young she looked. It made my moms day i think.. :-) Shirley, his intake secretary was nice. She seemed frazzled from a long day of work, but she knew her stuff. She was very helpful. The only thing i didnt like was that i had to watch the informational video in the waiting area in front of a bunch of people. I was put off by it, but i got over it. Hey i should be proud to let everyone know that i made a decision to better my life. I heard mention that Slotman didnt offer an after care program, but thats not true. He does. He even gives you info on the pre-op and post -op support group meetings that are offered, FOR FREE. Also, you do have to pay 20$ for the 1 initial nutritionist consult, but she mentioned that we can call her anytime if we have any questions. So that was nice. As far as addressing the risks, he does, at length. in the video and then again in the actual consult. I would rate him a 9. (from consult alone.)
MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. SLOTMAN WAS GOOD. HE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS BEFORE I HAD THE CHANCE TO ANSWER THEM. HE JOKED A BIT SO THAT HELPED TO CALM MY NERVES. BEFORE TALKING TO HIM, I STILL WASN'T SURE IF THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT I WANTED TO DO. AFTER TALKING TO HIM, I KNEW FOR SURE THAT THIS TOOL WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED AND HE WAS THE PERFECT SURGEON TO PERFORM IT. HE EXPLAINED ALL THE RISKS AND COMPLICATIONS OF SURGERY AND WHAT I WOULD HAVE TO DO TO PREVENT CERTAIN SITUATIONS. I FEEL CONFIDENT THAT I HAVE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION TO HAVE THE SURGERY AND THE RIGHT DECISION FOR CHOOSING DR. SLOTMAN.
Dr. Slotman is a GREAT dr. He does not rush into anything. He is very caring, and takes great pride in what he does. His staff is great too! Shirley is the BEST!!!!!
Dr. Slotman is great. Straight to the pint. No frills. He isn't out to impress and I like that.rnShirly is grat and so is the girl i saw in the room. I can't remember her name. rnHer name was Betty and sh'e no longer with the Doc. rn2/13/07 Doc did hernia repair. I swear he's the best surgeon for the Job! I recomend him to everyone!
He was very serious about his profession and really felt you should take the surgery serious. I felt I had made the right choice of surgeon. rnMy mind was definetly set after the second visit, he ordered several test that had to be completed before the surgery and they needed to come back correct before he would continue.rnHis staff was excellent and they made me feel at ease whenever i got stressed.rnThere wasn't anything I can say negative about him or his staff.
My first impression of Dr.Slotman was that he is a very nice man. He explained everything from top to bottom and he has a great sense of humor. He left nothing out as he answered every question that was already on my mind. He is very direct and gets right to the point.rnThe staff at his office are so nice and understanding. Shirley is the woman to talk to if you need anything at all. She is fabulous!!! Everything got done in a timely fashion and she kept the ball rolling.rnI choose Dr.Slotman because I personally know of five people that have already had the surgery with him and he came highly recommended.rnGood Luck to anyone considering the surgery with Dr. Slotman because you will be in good hands.
DR Slotman is the best he has changed my life for the better he is kind and will answer and questions you have. god bless you DR Slotman Thank you so much
