I liked Dr. Krahn from the very start. He was very kind, and was very informative. The staff ROCKS and they are the nicest gals around! rnMy psych eval was there, and Mr. Reyes was SUPER cool, and very easy to talk to. rnNo one there looks at you wierd, they treat you nice and like you were just like everybody else in the world. rnrnI feel confident in him as a surgeon, and anyone who can see him, just go in and try him out :)rnrnI have my date now, and I just cannot stress to everyone how GREAT everyone at that office is. These are the nicest people at a doctors office that I have ever dealt with. rnThe pre-op education class there went over everything , good and bad, about this procedure. I was glad to have all my questions and concerns answered. rnrn

When I first met Dr Krahn I was amazed at how much he didn't look like his picture. He looks young!! He was warm and to the point. I felt he was concerned about my health not just the $$. The office staff was helpful and my phone calls were quickly returned. Darren , his PA is also awesome. Another one of Dr Krahns patients told me he was very strict with his post-op eating but he gets results!! Thats what I want RESULTS. My impression of him only got better after my surgery. Thanks Dr K!!!!!!!!

My first impression of Dr. Krahn was that he was approchable and he really knew the ins and outs of obesity. He seemed like he really understood the burden or obesity. He was compassionate and caring. He also has a great track record of successful surgeries.

My first impression of Dr. Krahn was that he was so warm and sweet! He made me feel so comfortable! Also seeing that he was handsome made everything so much more better :) I met him January of 2006 and breezed through all of my procedures with flying colors. He did a open RNY on July 31 2006 and he was very attentive to me. I would trust him 100% again with my life. His post op care was just as great and very helpful even with the silliest questions. His office help is just as great I give them all 5 gold stars!

my first impression was great. It seemed like he was the one for me right of the bat. And over time it just got better. After my first office visit I really liked him. He was very nice and made sure that everything was covered. He really cares about your health and makes sure that your surgery goes as well as he can make it. Any future patients will feel the same way I'm sure. I cant even imagine feeling any different about him. Aftercare is very important to him and his staff. Any time that you have a problem you can call any time of day or night. I would rate him and his staff with a 10. Everything he does is 100% And if you do something that he told you not to do or to do, you better watch out because you could get scolded for it. LOL. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great. There is nothing negative to say about Dr. Krahn or his staff. They are wonderful!!

Dr. Krahn is terrific . He is easy to talk to , funny and he doesnt seem to judge you. The only negative is his office staff has a lot of new people and I dont think they are all on the same page. Alot of disorganization

Dr Jocobo Joffe of Toronto, Ontario was my original surgeon and still is, basically. He implanted my band and did my fills for the first 6 months.rnrnAs of 1/22/03 I am now having my fills done by Dr Alan Posner in Buffalo. rnrnDr Posner was closer to me and more convienient for adjustments.rnrnDr Joffe will do periodic checks of my band and any major concerns I may have.rnrnI find that both are very concerned about people's overall health and well being. I feel very forunate to have them both.rnrnIn October 2003 my band slipped-Dr Posner repositioned it. He was very caring and had me back on my feet in no time. Luckily I didn't gain back any weight throughout this ordeal.rnrnIn August 2004 I moved back to California and in August 2005 got Dr Douglas Krahn to take care of me and my band.

I was really impressed with Doctor Krahn from the first time that I met him at the Informational Seminar. He is very down to earth. The office staff, especially Sandy, Mark and Becky, is excellent as well.

When I first saw Dr. Krahn in person, he looked totally different than his picture. He and his staff were very nice and informative. The staff remembered me every time I phoned the office. I enjoyed the information seminar as well as the one on one teaching I had with his office manager/patient. I was given a lot information. I was treated as if I were his only patient.

Dr Krahn and Staff especially Mark who worked so hard with my persistant bugs and bothers to answer all my questions and concerns. They where on top of all my tests and schedule for pre-op. Dr Krahn is not a wham bam thank u mam Dr. He takes his time and is strict for our own good and safety. I have to wait long time for surgery date but will be worth it knowing im in the hands of a caring dr. I know that post-op is followed with great care also. I give dr Krahn 10 1/2.
