Douglas M. Krahn Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

The impression that i got from Dr. Krahn was very impressive. He answered all of my questions i was not just another patient.The office staff is wonderful and always answered all of my questions. Dr. Krahn stresses the after care. So far His bed side manner is and was very impressive he ans the office staff treats all of the patients with respect and dignity and i felt that there was no judgment and wants you to have the best care possible.

He is very caring. He has a Great education program and I feel that made a BIG difference in my success. He did address all the postives and neagstives regarding the surgery. My family was very much included in my education for living after a RNY. The down side is that he is very busy and it is very hard to get a quick answer to a question.

My experience with Dr. Krahn and his office staff has been excellent!

When I first saw Dr.Krahn it was some time ago at a seminar in Rancho Cucamonga. After listening to him, I felt right away that Dr. Krahn would be a great choice for my WLS. At that time, my insurance did not cover him for my Surgeon. A few months had gone by and I was approved after some more paperwork, still unsure of who my surgeon would be. Then my Dr office called me and said the surgeon would be Dr.Krahn. I was so excited!!! I immediately went online to see if it was him. I was so happy that it was. My 1 on 1 appointment was good. Although, I was very nervous, My mom was with me she asked so many questions. Dr. Krahn seemed to be very concerned about my health and passionate about these WLS procedures. The office was clean and professional looking, and had a photo album of before and after pictures which was nice to look at while I waited. The office staff was nice. Debi came out to taljk to me about what I could expect from here on out. They gave me a package with lots of information. The pr-op diet is very strict and structured, which is a good thing, easy to understand, so there is no mistakes. So far i would rate Dr. Krahn a 10. He is also very handsome:)

My first impression of Dr Krahn was very good. He was easy to understand, spoke clearly and didn't use a lot of medical terms that would confuse me. I love his office staff. I have always enjoyed my visits and have always felt comfortable. I love that his staff is comprised of bariatric patients. Both of the surgeons in his office are awsome and have been so helpful.. I was never concerned or afraid, I felt and feel safe in their hands. Their care in the hospital was awsome. I told them I didn't feel comfortable going home and wanted to stay one more day and they said no prob! I love these guys! Thank you for saving my life!rnrn

I have met Dr. Krahn only twice now, but he has definitely made an impression on me. He is funny, personable, and whether its years of training or not, he seems genuinely concerned and interested in my needs as his patient.

Dr. Krahn seems very nice and knowledgeable. I wish his staff was more proactive though when it comes to insurance.

Dr. Krahn is a wonderful surgeon with a great reputation. His entire staff is wonderful. They are very organized and treat you with respect. The office staff knows what they are doing and on top of things. You get plenty of education/information on what to expect and they emphasize after care. I feel that I will be a successful looser under Krahn's care.

My first impression of Dr. Krahn was that he is a real down to earth person and he keeps it real. The staff was great and answered all of my concerns. They even called my when I got out of the hospital. You should know Dr. Krahn is a great doctor and he really cares about his patients. He gave very clear instructions on what's to be done before and after surgery. He's an overall, great surgeon.
