Dr. Douglas Krahn, Bariatric Surgeon

Douglas Krahn, MD, FACS is the Founder and President of Western Bariatric, AMC with offices located in Riverside and San Bernardino, California. He is also the Medical Director for the St. Bernardine Medical Center Bariatric Program and Chief of Surgery at Parkview Community Hospital in Riverside. He earned his medical degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine and completed his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He participated in specialized training for laparoscopic bariatric surgery with Dr. Robert Marema and is fellowship trained in Bariatric Surgery from Broward Center of Obesity Surgery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Krahn is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), and the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS). He is affiliated with two area hospitals, Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center and St. Bernardine Medical Center.
